We popped in on a Wednesday evening, reasonably priced food and drinks, £10 burger night was great, food was lovely, and came out really quickly, and staff were really welcoming. The kids play areas were why we chose to visit, and they didn?t disappoint, kids had a great time playing whilst we sat enjoying a drink. Would definitely recommend.

Having struggled to find a venue for a family event, Zoe went above and beyond to accommodate us and to ensure that everything was perfect. Amazing customer care - such kind and lovely people. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely pub. Have eaten here a lot over the years. But lived out of the area for 4 years, and now returned so back to try our old favourites.
We weren't very impressed with the food. Burgers on the dry side, brioche bun on menu, this was changed to ciabatta on request. Why does everyone now serve burgers in sweet buns which are like marmite, love them or hate them! Onions rings now seem bought in and thickly covered in a type of batter, more batter than onion, unlike previously when they were in a light tempura type batter and delicious! Coleslaw didn't taste homemade nor very good bought in. Chips nice. Burgers not cheap at £19.50.
Might eat here again, might not. Definitely wouldn't be a first choice anymore, based on this and another recent dining experience.

The place was beautiful in a pictures village. The staff were all kind and helpful. Then outside area is beautiful especially kids area. It was windy so maybe heaters would have been good. Very spacious. Food was great but the only thing I would say is there definitely should be a wider vegetarian options and vegan. Maybe they should also look to do fresh juices that would work wonders. We had a lovely time and will come back. Please look at extending your vegetarian options amd do a vegan menu. Feels a bit like a kindergarten which is fine if your a family otherwise it?s less desirable. Food was good fish and chips for £19.50 has to be pretty great and it wasn?t the fish great chips not so much- grainy texture.
