It wasn't busy so we didn't have to wait very long for our meals. Waiting staff lacked a little personality and product knowledge but did get the job done.

Food was delicious but the Caesar salads and the chicken and bacon pie had very little bacon which was disappointing as the Rusty gun is all about the pork.

Visited on Sunday 24th Aug with my son. We both ordered burgers, staff were all very friendly and attentive. Chef listened to my dietary needs. Finished with a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Delicious. Will definitely recommend.

First time visiting this place last Sunday and what an amazing little place it is. The pub itself is gorgeous, oozing with charm, a very rustic feel and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were polite, attentive and welcoming. The food was out of this world, one of the best carvery's I've ever had. The meat was served in chunky tasty slices, Yorkshires like houses and the cauliflower and broccoli cheese was phenomenal! We will definitely be making this a regular Sunday thing.

I booked a lunch party for my dad?s 90th and I could not fault how we were looked after. George our waiter looked after us all afternoon. Food was very good and all came at the same time.

Very skimpy on the carvery meat. Two small medallion size slices of beef wasn't enough. The gravy was very salty too.

Absolutely fantastic. Visited today for a carvery lunch. The meal was delicious from mains to desert. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Managers sam and nunno were hard working friendly and attentive. Will definitely be booking again and highly recommend.

Menu is very meat based with only a couple of veggie options. Fine for most of us (though 1 vegetarian wasn't keen on options) service and food was very good and we had a great time.

Terrible, terrible terrible. I wrote a letter of complaint and am still (never got one) awaiting a response.
Do not go here for a meal, you will probably be very disappointed. We were having a family meal which became more like a scene from Fawlty Towers. Screaming from the Kitchen, apologies from the serving chef and just a really bad experience. Food was poor, cold, late and the wrong order. Not a ringing endorsement for a restaurant.
