Have been using this place for years, but three times in a row now parts of our order have been left out. We shouldn't have to unpack an order in the shop in order to make sure it's all there. It's basic incompetence and it's extremely frustrating. What is the point of takeaway if you have to drive back to the shop to pick up someone's meal while your chips get cold at home?

Got 2 pcs chicken and chips from here, the girl serving gave me the meal, I go and when I open it?s 2 pcs of thighs and they were absolutely disgusting and I had to throw them away , nobody likes thigh pieces why would you put 2 of them , and taste bad too, she should have asked what pieces would you like. Disappointing. 2 stars because chips were ok.

Food is ok but Jesus Christ! The staffs in there look like they hate their jobs! All the young staff in there seem so thick and unbothered! Slow and don?t approach you even while you?re queuing! You have to ask if they would like to serve you. They stood there chatting amongst themselves. Absolute joke. Btw the shop was empty at this point! So it wasn?t even like it?s busy. Not my first time getting bare minimum service from these people

Not that fish & chips I would ever eat unless I am by seaside, but waiting for my son at Royston train station, Sunday night, must I eat now before it's too late for night, there I made in to fish and chips, & got confirm why I don't like fish and chips, a shop sels fish and no option for fresh lemon deserve to shut down ?. Have eating half eating half throwing away. Chips dry, fish as little as my pink finger. Never again for little while anywhere unless it's by seaside and with option of fresh lemon!

Popped in to get some dinner tonight, the girl serving behind the counter with pink hair clearly didn't want to be there & had no respect for the guy working in there behind the fryer from her body language & attitude towards him was appalling
No smile, abrupt & virtually threw the bag on the counter when the food was ready.
I would have said something to the guy there but as she clearly has no respect for him there was no point in causing an issue for him, I will contact head office.

Ordered 3 piece chicken and chips. The chicken was disappointing, fatty with little edible meat, kfc would have been better, chips ok. Small portions, won?t be returning.

So just ordered from fish n chick. Rock solid savoloy, runny curry sauce and one of the staff there cleaning the chip fryer was extremely rude. Will not be coming here again.

Not the biggest portions, seems to have got smaller over the last year.
Hot and fresh.
Would recommend but has local competition close by which might edge it for me.

I popped in and was asked if I?d minding waiting for the chips to cook - no problem. Ordered a couple of saveloys and chips and some southern fried chicken.
Chips were ok, saveloys hadn?t been microwaved for long enough as they were like rocks and cold in the middle. 2 out of the 3 chicken pieces were not fresh. Hard coating and dried out chicken. The fresh piece that was juicy and noticeabley just cooked was quite fatty. I tried to call through to let them know so other customers weren?t affected however the phone just rang out and then dropped the line.

Yum!! Perfectly cooked fish, light, crispy batter, great chips and the best freshly made onion rings i've ever had. Friendly happy delivery driver and no plastic packages too!10 out of 10.

It's not actually possible to get a fish supper as they sell everything separately! A crazy policy which means you have double the packaging and things go colder quickly.I could not recommend this chip shop at all.
