The best charity shop in town in terms of prices and selection. Lots of these reviews mention that the manager and staff are rude however you have to remember that although some are paid some have given up there own time to work to help Barnardo's so in that respect give staff a bit of a break and be kind.

Lady in charge has 0 customer service skills.
But these company's pay 0 for stock little tax due to charity status. Make a fortune for the bosses and there gala parties. And pay staff peanuts.

We took donations in and the lady in charge was really rude rolling her eyes and complaining that they have had a lot that day. She made us feel really unwelcome so we won?t donate here again.

The girl who I believe runs the shop is giving it a bad name took a donation in there today and to be frank sorry I took up her valuable time basically got eye rolled and she pointed to where I needed to put it and basically spoke to me like I had insulted her she is constantly moody and clearly can't deal with the public so maybe get her a job well away from people and maybe teach her some manners and training in Customer Service

Always had a good experience here. Efficient staff and always informative. Seeing some of the previous comments I think it's sometimes helpful to remember these peeps may be volunteering and helping a good cause.

Never again - went into the shop with a donation the manager on duty rolled her eyes at me. It was a very uncomfortable experience. Rude staff that need training.

Good selection, bit on the pricey side for a charity shop.I won't donate here any more though - always a reason why it can't be accepted so have to drag everything to the other side of the town centre!

I went to Barbados in Royston yesterday to donate. This was my second visit. The woman who appeared to be in charge was very sharp bordering on rude both times.I won't donate there any more.
