The most amazing food in a quintessential village pub. Don't be put off. Everyone is welcome, but most people will know 2 other groups in the pub and will chat and catch up, even if it has only been a week since they were together. It is a small pub and doesn't take much to be busy, so sometimes you will have to wait a while to be served. But you will always be served with a smile and a chat, even if the staff don't know you. Quality over quantity. We love it, and so do our kids. There is also a lovely walking look you can take from the pub. Just beware, Sunday lunch orders stop at 4pm.

Lovely pub, great food, friendly staff. Lacks character from the inside, and is small so minimal facilities, but great location and the quality/friendliness really is incredible. Lots of vege options. Would visit regularly happily.

We just had a very nice Sunday lunch. Great food and excellent beers. The staff/owners were very welcoming & friendly. Nice choice of roasts, main meals, vegetarian options & deserts. Great local pub atmosphere. We will be back again soon.

A wonderful, traditional British country pub that serves great tasting, good value food.
The menu has a big selection of specials that change regularly and the staff and locals are all very friendly

this village pub is perfect if you want a pub with good home cooked food, a warm atmosphere and a villagey feel. it?s such a warm place it feels like it?s been plucked out of a fairytale. oh and the food is bloody amazing
