Disappointing Experience ? Would Not Recommend.
I had an awful time at this place. The staff seemed inexperienced and unhelpful, and the service was extremely poor. The food was disappointing, both in quality and taste. Additionally, the waitress was rude and unprofessional, making the experience even worse.
This place does not seem to cater well to locals in Rickmansworth. I would strongly advise others to avoid it

Visited on Christmas Eve and it was packed out, but had a friendly atmosphere and good range of beers on offer. My favourite pub in Ricky.

I?m not normally the kind of person to write a negative review, however I came for Steak Thursday. Placed my order at 12:47.
Food was served at 14:15, a steak (ordered medium) which was well done the entire way through had to be returned, the kids ?Fish & Chips? is just fish fingers and chips, I suppose the buttermilk chicken burger was decent however only 1/3 people getting what they asked for is unacceptable.
I asked the hostess at regular intervals if the food would be much longer, to be told ?5 minutes? each time - I don?t think this is acceptable.
EDIT: On leaving, and attempting to pay the bill, the hostess informed me that the bill was comp?d due to time waiting and quality - as a result I?ve updated the ?Service? rating to 4*.

Poor service and mediocre over-priced food. Waitress showed us to table which covered in beer stains. She didn?t clean it or offer menus. I hope the kitchen was cleaner than the pub. Wouldn?t eat here again.

Went for lunch.The weather was nice so we sat outside .It was very quiet but the lady who served us was very friendly and efficient.
They do a lunchtime special.
Food was good.
Would definitely go back.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon and it was brilliant! Big portions and home cooked fresh food. lovely friendly service. Would return and have told others to check it out.

Went to watch a match at the Euros. A lot of people there for the England match as expected. Only 2 tvs and no sound from one made it quote hard to view the match. However positives were the drinks and food came really quick, staff were extremely friendly and tentative even though it was packed. Will be back but maybe get a few more TV's and fix the sound to make it a better experience.
