This bank is a joke. They take forever to reply and register you then they cancelled my request for not replying to them in 3 days ?? who they think they are? Wasted my time with them

Took advantage with the favourable high interest rates offered by RCI in comparison elsewhere. So I opened a 3 year fixed term bond. All straightforward and pretty seamless. The account is accessible online via the app. Great so far!

Very easy to open an online 1 year fixed rate account, yes withdrawals take a bit longer than other banks but maybe this is something they can work on.

Horrible. Tried phoning. Hung up after being on hold 27 minutes. When you withdraw money it takes other banks no more than 2 hours. RCI Bank takes an additional business day. Horrible horrible bank

Took out a 3-year savings bond - straightforward application process. I was uncertain about one detail of the T&Cs, which a quick (7 minutes from dialling to end) 'phone call cleared up. Polite, reassuring, and informative telephone staff. Exactly how this should be done!

After being initially tempted by RCIs fantastic rates I had a moments doubts with the bad reviews from last year. My experience withRCI has been excellent in every way possible. I see that the RCI replied to all the negative comments with an understandable explanation. Out of interest I looked at how the Nat West scored before signing up. They, rightly so, received a bad rating which mirrors my personal experience with them.Again RCI have been excellent and got everything right first time. One of the best services I?ve received from a financial institution. Cannot rate them highly enough. I?ve had zero problems to report. I rarely recommend anything, but as you?re reading this I guess you?re considering investment with RCI. Do it. If I could invest more which would be protected then I would

Appears to be a very well run bank and replies to queries and questions very promptly. Have no hesitation in recommending and they offer a good range of accounts both for instant access of for longer term.

As from today I think this is the market leader albeit a 95 day notice account. I don't know why other banks are so 'tardy' when passing rate rises on to savers. In today's clime teach them a lesson, if not in top 3 leave them ! It's time for the return of the 'saver' let's get back what we're owed !

Interest rates are OK but customer service is not great and because they are not part of the clearing system in the UK transfers can take upto 48 hours which has proved problematic. There are other banks Tandem and Chase which are better either in interest rates or transfer times or indeed both and with better customer service.

Simple to use and great rates which are the same for new and existing customers. unlike Santander, who don't give a toss about existing loyal customers getting worse rates than new accounts.

Very easy to open an account but very difficult to find the link to close. Customer service sent guidance but i am still no nearer to closing. I think they want to hold on to your money for dear life?

Bought a Nissan Qashqai from Glyn Hopkin a while back which developed an ongoing fault .The vehicle was purchased by using RCI Bank Financial Services ,and eventually I successfully rejected the faulty vehicle ,as was my right, back to Glyn Hopkin .Both Nissan , Glyn Hopkin and RCI Bank weren?t very helpful at all, trying to have us keep the vehicle and prevent us from rejecting it.However we knew our consumer rights , and took this matter up with the Financial Ombudsman Services Ltd .This free of charge service ensured we got a complete refund of what we paid , plus compensation.I will never deal with RCI Bank , nor Nissan or Glyn Hopkin again .Anyone complaining of poor service and getting no results , will be strongly advised to use the Financial Ombudsman Services Ltd .Guaranteed, the bank will have to comply.
