We found Libtek via Heat Geek. After a detailed heat loss survey, Alex and his team installed a Vaillant Arotherm air source heat pump (ASHP) system in December 2023 with a bespoke Newark cylinder and Level 3 heat pump monitoring bundle from OpenEnergyMonitor. The system has been performing brilliantly, regularly achieving COPs of 4/5. We would have no hesitation in recommending Alex/Libtek.

Alex has been knowledgeable and diligent, designing a heating system that really makes the most of our heat pump. I haven?t moved in yet, so I can?t review what is like to live with yet, but I?m very excited. Will update this review when I have moved in.

Alex Winters (Libtek) did a great job of installing a 5kW Vaillant Arothem+ heat pump at my house in St Albans. He is clearly an enthusiast for his work, and has a lot of expertise in the complex field of heat pumps. He went above and beyond to leave us with a tidy, efficient install. I'm delighted with the result. I would recommend him to anyone looking to install a heat pump.

Alex came to fit our new Boiler and fitted it in one day. He showed me how to install the Valiant App and can check through the app to see if the boiler is working as it should be, he took my old boiler & packaging away. He is very efficient, approachable and knowledgeable - will use his services again if needed and highly recommend.

Alex and his team installed a brand-new central heating system in our three-bedroom house. Before the work, the house lacked any form of central heating. They fitted a new gas boiler, water softener, nine column radiators, new pipework, and a new shower system. They also removed the old electric wall radiators, immersion heater and water tank.
Throughout the works they were super professional and friendly. Alex answered all of our questions, particularly when it came to selecting the right central heating system for our needs.
Genuinely couldn't be happier with the results, highly recommend!
