I don?t usually write reviews, but I just have to share how grateful I am to the team at Boots Opticians in Potters Bar- Stella, Martin, Pritti and Chris. I?m deeply touched by the amount of genuine care I receive every time I visit them and especially recently when I needed help with my contact lenses and also an eye check. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for brilliant opticians. Thank you again to you all.

Pritti was amazing with my son ? so patient and kind throughout the entire eye test. She took the time to answer all my questions without any rush, which I really appreciated. I asked if we could try a prescription from a previous optician, and she was totally open to it ? no judgment at all, just very professional and understanding. She gave off such positive vibes and made the whole experience really comfortable. Highly recommend her!

I stupidly threw my last set of fortnightly disposable contact lens away last night and I have to drive back to Kent. On the off chance I walked into the Potters Bar Branch and was met with the most amazing member of staff Martin. I explained my situation and he was attentive and so helpful. He gave me the nearest best match possible and he has seriously made my day and I?ve walked away thinking there are lovely people about. What an absolute credit to your company to have a person of this magnitude with such a caring personality.

I gave this score because my experience at Potters Bar Optician was outstanding, thanks to the excellent care and professionalism shown by Chris and Neha.
Chris carried out my mum?s eye examination with great attention to detail. He was incredibly thorough, clearly explaining each step of the process and taking the time to answer all of my questions. His calm, reassuring manner made me feel completely at ease, and his expertise was evident throughout the appointment. I felt confident that my mum?s eye health was in very capable hands.
Neha was equally impressive ? friendly, organised, and extremely helpful from start to finish. She made the whole experience smooth and stress-free, ensuring that I had all the information I needed and that everything was arranged efficiently. Her warm and professional approach made a real difference and added a personal touch to the visit.
Together, Chris and Neha provided a level of service that was not only professional but also genuinely caring. Their dedication and excellent customer service are a credit to the team at Potters Bar Optician, and I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend them to others

Today my wife received friendly and thorough consultation and felt all the staff gave a courteous and professional service in all aspects from the test to the purchase of new glasses.
She has needed glasses for many years and felt this was an excellent in depth test with all aspects being explained.
Excellent after test service with a good can do confident approach.

Awful! Awful! Awful! I was called by the optician for my free eye test due to being in the contract lens scheme. The fact that the test was free is the only reason I booked the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I reconfirmed that it was a free eye test and they agreed. I was told that I?d also qualify for 50% off glasses. When I went to select some glasses after the test, I was told that I no longer qualified for free eye tests and discounted glasses due to my contract lens contract being cancelled without my awareness. I was asked to pay £30 for the test I had been told was free! I was embarrassed and humiliated into paying the £30 test fee by the store manager. I attended the FREE eye test at THEIR invitation and now I was made to feel pressured into paying. This was their mistake and I feel conned into paying. This is shoddy service, I?m furious. Not even an apology. I?m changing the optician for my entire family. It?s a real shame as the optometrist is really lovely and they?ve looked after my family for at least 15 years. Never again. Beware

Martin, Stella, Chris and the team are just excellent. They are friendly, professional and always take their time to help. I started using boots opticians three years ago when my other optician who I had used for over 30 years, could not see me for an emergency eye test for over three weeks following an eye infection which had impacted my vision. I went and spoke to Boots on the off chance that they could see me and I was seen the next day! I cannot fault them. I have recommended them to many of my family and friends and will continue to do so. Thank you.
