Wonderful country pub with excellent food + warm and welcoming service. I was still thinking about that Burger a week later. The dishes are so well considered. Real thought has gone into each element. Will definitely be back and very much looking forward to it!

Booked a table for 4, nice atmosphere, table by yhe sliding doors on a beautiful day, staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, complements to the kitchen team.

Service, food and atmosphere exemplary as usual - this is my second visit and we will definitely be back. Millie is a lovely member of staff and we always manage to have a nice chat, and a bit of banter! The only reason I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere is that it wasn't very busy (lunchtime), I like a bustling place... Lastly the food is pricey - BUT it is very nice! Highly recommended

Had an excellent Sunday dinner here with family. There was 6 of us and a baby. Staff were really attentive, the food and atmosphere was great. We will definitely be coming back.
Burgers were amazing and I had the pork tenderloin and was just really cooked and presented - Be back soon and the menu is refreshed.
First time at the Fox & Hounds - won't be the last travelled from north Essex ??

Very disappointed.
When away hungry as portion size was small. Roast beef was raw which I wasn't told when ordering. The roast potatoes were undercooked as well. £24 for a small roast beef was not value for money. £4.40 for a coke which didn't have much flavour.
Also asked to move tabls as the chairs had very low backs and was told no. Definitely not accessible friendly.
