Everything was cooked fresh to order and served piping hot, which made for a delightful experience. The bacon was of good quality, and even the drinks were perfectly on point. Overall, a very satisfying meal!

I have had the best burger ever today in this lovely cafe. The coffee was amazing and the staff were very nice. All for less than £10, very happy and I will be coming back again soon to try the breakfast as they looked so good.

Don't know the area at all, walked round looked at a few coffee shops seemed pricey for a brew, and was all prepacked heat up behind the counter jobs. Saw a road worker by his van, asked him if he new any decent places for a fry up, he suggested hitchin lol.
As I was walking away he said hang on there a place down there called star..
So ended up in here, very clean, nice and pleasant staff at counter waiting. Food prices on par with similar styled cafes. Good selection, food and tea came out piping hot and fresh. Can't fault anything. Will use again if in the area.
Was eating on my own as only in area as motorbike having work done in the area. Felt welcome and didn't feel uncomfortable at all like you can eating in some places when on your tod.

Star Express is our new go to café for breakfast. We used to go to Three Magnets in Letchworth but they were very hit and miss. Star Express has been great every single time (we go at least twice a week). Very fast and friendly service, great food and lovely customers. Nice casual atmosphere.
