Absolute disgrace of a service for a Town that once had a decent Post Office on Broadway that used to have about 8 counters to serve people. Now reduced to just one counter open at peak time on a Friday afternoon and one poor bloke serving about 20 odd Customers going out the door!

Tried as emergency (to me) to contact this post office 42 times in one afternoon (19th Dec). Not once was it answered. Left extremely stressed. Parcel tracking says it?s not left the post office in 3 days. Answer your phone please.

i have just been to try to collect a parcel, which they (Royal Mail) tried to deliver on Saturday (with no notice) when i was out shopping, then this morning at 07.42am, when i was in the shower, not waiting long enough for me to get to the front door, so tried to collect my parcel in person at 3.55pm, to find that they are only open from 8 - 10am, and they wonder why they get such poor press!

The Post Office was closed from 1-2pm when I visited on a Thursday. Please update your hours or do a Google post a sign on the door helps nobody until they arrive.

Terrible service and beware. Asked for a recorded delivery and they attempted to push me to guaranteed next day delivery for £10 which is totally unnecessary.Try explaining what the options are instead of blatant pushy upselling. Are your bonus? based on how much you flog now?
