“Cheap and cheerful store from a chain.Some of the goods are OK but be selective as this is not always the case.They do stock a wide range of products from all departments from pet foods to paints.The service through the tills is usually slow but this is no reflection on the staff as I have always found them polite and cheerful, just the lack of open tills is the issue here.I needed storage”

“Great range of father's day cards and presents. I was served quickly today which was good because the only issue I have is that at lunchtime they don't have enough staff on the tills. I get 1/2 hour for lunch so this is really irritating - wish they would have a queue for people on lunch only rather than make us queue with those who have all day but chose to shop at lunchtime!!”

“Lovely to see The Works in letchworth at last was quite surprised to see it there only one thing the owners have placed marker in slight wrong location next to Claire's to left is a phone shop can't recall what one then to left of that the larger premises is The Works I'm sending edit to Google maps The mobile store I see was in wrong location have edited to correct location which Is where the works location has been placed on the map I need site owner to update Google maps with correct position best taking it off satellite mode u can then see each store better and relocate your pin to the larger store to the right of the mobile store two stores away from Claires accessories I've tried getting Google maps to move but because site was added by site owners I think they assume I'm wrong”

“It's convenient to have such a store nearby. I was walking with my daughter in the town and we went in to see what was interesting.We started at the clothing department, then cosmetics. I remembered I needed a tablecloth. I have found a reusable paper one, for £1.25. The map suited me and I bought it.Only one checkout was available. A mother with children remembered that she needed something, and sent the child to get her. In the meantime, a long line accumulated behind me, and 2 more people in line in front of me. It was very annoying.All in all, this is a place for all kinds of items at a discounted price.”
