Lunch for 4 people today , we pre-booked, however it was not particularly busy. This is surprising as it was a fantastic meal. The pub is deceptively large with indoor and outdoor dining areas. We sat in the restaurant and had great service, with drinks offered and menus provided as we sat , and a bottle of water brought to the table. The food was fantastic, freshly made pies, chive mash , lamb shank all delicious, followed by great desserts. A nice touch was the mini dessert/ coffee combo , which was sufficient for us.
The service was very good , efficient but unhurried. We would definitely recommend , and will definitely be back.

First time going to this establishment since I moved to the area a year ago, it?s always looked busy with great atmosphere.
So today me & my partner said let?s go!
From the moment we stepped into the door a young girl called Lulu greeted us with the warmest welcome and offering us absolutely anywhere we felt our most comfortable.
We chose to sit in restaurant area and we had a selection of starters and sides along with a beer & aperol!
Food was absolutely incredible, the atmosphere was jolly and efficient, we loved our stay so we will 100% be coming back
Huge thank you to LuLu and the staff, and the gentlemen who served my food I didn?t catch him name, had curly brown hair, tall, and young! He was a proper happy chap.

Came here with some work colleagues for after work drinks on a Friday and we all had a great experience. The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was nice and chilled

Our third time here in 6 months and the food just never disappoints! The beef croquettes are insane with the dripping sauce, the dirty burger is a firm favourite and is epic every time. Tonight had the pork duo as well and it was cooked to perfection! Thursdays - Saturday yes it?s very busy so can be a little slower on food but always worth the wait, other weeknights the service is so speedy, and staff always super lovely. Food is priced as it should be for such deliciousness.

A fabulous Sunday roast ?. The roast beef was perfectly rare and the accompanying veg and Yorkshire complimented it. Our waitress Elise was her usual attentive self. Overall a rather delightful Sunday lunch
