Had a party for my mum and couldn?t have asked for better. The food was amazing lots of people said how lovely It was. The room was the perfect size, all staff were very helpful. Hannah in particular couldn?t do enough to assist me beforehand and was amazing on the night.
Excellent value for money, bar area clean, tidy and professional staff.
Kid-friendliness: We had children at the party and they were made to feel welcome
Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for wheeelchair and clean and easy to get to disabled toilet.

Booked for a wake 330-730 weeks before only to be told we had to be out by 6:15. £800 for less than 3 hours. We were told to book on the day for extra time but they had booked the tables already for food guests. We wanted 330-4oclock start, they booked for 3. Its like they purposely wanted the eve free for other pub business. ITS A WAKE we cant do it over! Sandwiches were nasty, revolting. Staff was nice enough tho if unhelpful. Really how can you turf out wake guests after a couple of hours...wasn't even cheap! How embarrassing. Disrespectful . Don't bother. Go elsewhere .
EDIT: thank you for your reply Hannah. May I ask at what time you thought i was happy? Was it at 545 when you told us we had to clear out in the next 30mins? Did you see there were still 35 guests? Checkovs gun, why did you need to say there were tables booked at 630 so the option for easy time extensions to 8 were not available?.. It meant that your pub took bookings over our time option earlier in the week when that time allotted was OUR option, your oversight, your mistake, so you knew that full well at the beginning of the function we were going to run out of time, no way did you think that 2 1/2 hours would be enough. Your staff had made a mistake in booking and in fact double booked! Own up to your mistakes, don't gaslight.

Myself and partner popped in for a couple of drinks and while there decided to have some of the Nasho?s as a snack. Oh wow they were incredible and would highly recommend. Looking forward to returning to try out more of the menu

Had our Mums 70th birthday celebration here recently. The function room was ideal and the Buffet food was really good. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Went in for the first time with my wife on a Saturday couple of weeks ago have to say what a luvly friendly welcome we got the staff were brilliant we had food and it was lovely great atmosphere and lovely food ta very much see you very soon ??

Just had a meal to savour and remember. From the new menu I chose the pork steak with a mushroom sauce, and wow. A large steak that was perfectly cooked and accompanied by the sublime homemade mushroom sauce. It is a meal that I would highly recommend but must be partnered by the mashed potatoes and not chips.
Jay, Hannah and the rest of The Sun team continue to raise the bar and make improvements for customer satisfaction -- Well done!

Had a great meal last Thursday night, 5 of us all served lovely, fresh and hot food. Really friendly and helpful waitress, can thoroughly recommend chicken skewers, and the variety of burgers. Thank you ?

Can only give the food a three as there was a long blonde hair in the middle of my chicken skewer...... Waitress was very apologetic. Was offered a drink as compensation which I declined as I had a full glass.... waitress assured me it wasn't hers as her hair was tied back but the chef thought it was the girl who prepped the chicken earlier in the day ?. Put a bit of a dampener on the Christmas meal I was having with friends to the extent one left as she couldn't eat having seen the hair.
