Have been going to this Nail Bar for a little while now and would like to share personal experience so far.
I had a personal special occasion and trusted Mimi and team to prepare my nails and look what they did.
I am very impressed, these nails are beautiful, elegant and great quality. I spent a week on the islands participating in water activities and not a single nail broke. All diamonds lasted for ages.

Unsanitary conditions. they do not sterilised the equipment. Cuticle scissors were not sanitised and was laying on the table after the previous customer.... first time and never again

The ladies always look after my nails so well, I?ve been getting Biab full sets to help keep me nails strong and healthy.
This last set they did a creative design of silver hearts with gemstones, which came out so beautiful. I 100% recommend The Nail Bar!!!

I wasn?t sure about writing this because I don?t like giving reviews like this to local businesses, especially ones in a similar field to me. But, while the first time I went was great, the service went well, the pedicure was lovely and while they caught me on one finger that didn?t stop bleeding for two hours - it was fine. Stuff like that I?m just sorta used to because it happens sometimes. That being said, the second time was an appointment that I completely regret attending.On every finger I was cut with a nail file when they were filing down the sides of the BIAB. They said it was just a little scratch, but the bleeding on 3 of my nails took between 1-3 hours to stop. I continuously ensured to try and wash and use antibacterial to make sure my wounds were clean. Unfortunately, that wasn?t enough. The tools that were used were so unsanitary that I ended up having an infection in all of my nails. It was so incredibly painful that I could barely do my two jobs which are both very physical.After 2 weeks of having nail infections that wouldn?t go away, even after constantly soaking in hot water with salt or disinfectants and other home-remedy treatments that have never failed before, I had to go to the doctor. The infection was so bad that he prescribed me antibiotics which further made my work life and personal life more difficult. So for a total of 4 weeks, not only did I have red swollen extremely painful and bruised fingers, but I was dizzy, sick and had to call in sick or go home sick because it was too dangerous for me to work, just because I wanted to get my nails done.The only reason why I didn?t give 1 star for ruining the entirety of January for me, was because they are really friendly and the first time was great. So I?m really hoping they up their standards in cleanliness. Because the pain was so bad that the bones in my fingers felt bruised.

The owner & staff are really lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. Very professional in every way. Friendly & polite. Clean, tidy & sterile. Lots of colours to choose from. Lovely luxury gel pedicure & manicure. Highly recommend ?

I wish I can add the photo of manicure. Which is just horrible. Nail polish all over the place and very uneven. I think my daughter can do better. The main thing they do not sterilised the equipment

I have the Biab Gel nails from The Nail Bar Hoddesdon and they last for weeks! Never chip, always neat and great finish. I found my gel nails would always lift before having this now I?m really happy with them.Service: Gel manicures
