Really Poor experience in hoddesdon's Morrison today As my Autistic 4 year old had a Meltdown as they had a automatic robot hoover going round store on its own cleaning and it was programmed to notice customers and heading towards me and my daughter's buggy and she freaked out and a Member Of Staff Just laughed at her and found it hilarious because he was having a meltdown over the hoover,, and for autism child's parent I feel disgusted by how the staff member laughed and it freaked my child out so much she never wants to step foot bakc in to the hoddesdon's Morrison anymore

Went to do our shop here and after checking the first few empty aisles and walking around a large puddle of water in the meat aisle we just left and went to Aldi. Disgusting store we often find it with mess and leaks all over. I wouldn?t trust the fresh food here

Gone right down the pan no escalators half the time freshcream cake fridge not working for weeks on end same for other fridges & freezers in store fresh fish counter not working for weeks because of no ice believe it or not when they did get some only enough for about a third of the counter also half the more card offers don't get taken off at till looks like the store is running all stock down ready for closure used to go 2-3 times a week won't be going any more

What on earth has happened to Hoddesdon store, escalator not working, lift not working, hardly any veg etc, shelves empty fish counter closed or hardly any fish on display, staff seem to be at their wits end, no wonder they are having to take the flack from annoyed customers from all the stores multiple problems, strange don't see the mangers getting it in the ear just the poor staff.

The store is in a state of great disrepair. This means the usually good selection is no longer . Market Street produce no longer varied. Have been shopping elsewhere

5/7/25 visited Hoddesdon Store (my usual one) only to find the same situation as a couple of weeks ago.
Firstly, the travelator - only one up to the store works - so you cannot come back down with a trolly as you would be dragged off your feet.
Secondly - the stairs to the store were open, so we climbed two sets of stairs, only to find the store door was locked!
Thirdly - we did our shop, had a loaded trolly, only to find after walking the width of the store, we needed to go all the way back again to go to the lift.
Also,there are NO signs for customers to let them know. One poor elderly lady slowly walked all the way to the lift to find AGAIN it still was not working.
My point/concern is, many disabled and elderly people use that store, rely on a trolly, many families do large shops, so they need a trolley.
WHY is the lift or travelator not repaired?
WHY are there no signs to inform you of this as you arrive
ONE LIFT is no good for a queue of people wanting to exit with trolleys and frozen food
WHY is a member of staff not directing people or assisting.
To be honest, maybe you should close it until it's resolved, or have more staff to help.
You need someone in authority to go to the store and see it for themsrlves, it's bedlam.
I look forward to hearing that the repairs have taken place and that you can easily get a loaded trolley to the car park.
