The deer café boasts a large selection of both food and beverages.Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or just a light snack, you'll find plenty of options to choose from.The variety of hot and cold drinks is equally extensive, catering to all tastes and preferences. Alcohol was served at this cafè too, which we didn't order, but was available.Portion sizes are perfect ? generous without being overwhelming. Every dish we tried was delicious and well-presented.While I can't comment on the cost since my son kindly treated us to lunch, the overall quality of the food and service suggests that Deer Café offers excellent value for money.I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lunch place with a great dining experience in Hoddesdon.

Staff unfriendly , couldn?t be bothered , no smiles .quick serve , taramasalata with horrible dry tortilla packet , yuck . Main homemade moussaka ok , salad packet no dressing , chips frozen ,cold dessert tiramisu dry Iceland square , not fresh . Look I didn?t expect much for £13 but don?t waste you money , couldn?t be bothered to complain , as it was meal out for my mum .??

Bit disapointed to get charged an extra £1.00 for soya milk in my latte on top of £3.30 for a standard Latte. When we questioned the cost they said Soya milk cost more. In total £4.30 for a latte. Outrageous!!!!

This place really has gone from strength to strength over the years. I simply can't recommend Deer Cafe enough. The food is always exceptional, the menu choice is perfect and the staff are super friendly and efficient. If it's a cafe you're looking for then this is the place with all the expected breakfast/lunch options but if its Turkish lunch or dinner they have you covered too and the quality is as good, if not better than the other local Turkish restaurants. I've actually walked out of Wetherspoons across the road before as I realised I could get better quality food and at competitive prices at Deer Cafe. A special shout out also to the owner Ozay Tabak, who personally cooked my Sarma Lamb Beyti on my most recent visit and also to their amazing waitress Emma Sammarco, who could break a world record for the amount she can remember without writing anything down and couldn't be more attentive. Over the years, my whole family has become quite attached to this place, so long may it survive to continue brightening up Hoddesdon's dining experience. I should also point out that their chicken and bacon jacket potato is probably the best I've had ??

It was our first visit today and the food was absolutely delicious! Service was outstanding, prompt and professional, we did not have to wait for drinks/food/bill and nothing was too much trouble- our lovely server even cut up my daughter?s food so I could eat! Warmest welcome ever, we loved it here and will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: My two 7 year olds were made to feel super special here this morning by our lovely server, she chatted to them, and made them feel so happy and at home.

I brought my sister from New Zealand here. It's my favourite local cafe/restaurant. She loved the food, as we do. Very generous portions and reasonable prices! Highly recommended.
