First point.
Visited Hitchin store in Hertfordshire earlier today as I had a problem in that I lost a lot of data on various apps and could not retrieve it myself. First issue, door was on locked (11.55am) so it had to be opened by member of staff and on entering again it was locked, no explanation, 2 staff members present. Described the issues to the girl and after 20 minutes could not fix the issues and along with the male colleague advised me the issues were with Google therefore contact them. Whilst in the store another customer came to the front door and was let in. After waiting 20 to be served he had enough and asked to leave and a member of staff let him out without one word of apology, unbelievable. Absolutely '0' knowledge and more important complete lack of customer awareness service.
Second point.
The reason I'm making this complaint is that afterwards I went to the Luton store in the Arndale where the issues were completely fixed in 10 minutes.

I came into Vodafone Hitchin, Mutzy store manager was absolutely fantastic. She helped me with upgrading my current phone and transferred the data across. Will definitely recommend her and her staff members

went to collect phone before travelling abroad. staff had shut shop before 4pm on Wednesday (supposed to be 5.30pm close) with no courtesy note. now going abroad without phone. phoned Souzan at Vodafone who tried to call manager and branch, but said Vodafone had no idea why their shop wasn't open.

Popped in to sort a few things out. Jamie was extremely welcoming and professional. Im so happy use an actually shop rather than online. That's why I stay with Vodafone. Many thanks Jamie.

I have 5 mobile numbers on my account. I walked in to this shop at Hitchin to cancel a Vodafone Wi-fi dongle as i never use it. The girl at the reception persuaded me to agree to a new plan which will reduce my monthly bill. the agreement she put me on pushed my bill from around £250 per month to £1327. She also tied me into a contract I can't get out of for 2 years. She was specifically told not to include one of the numbers on to the new agreement to my surprise she did. Although they have the Vodafone Logo on their sign all over their shop, this is a franchise. Avoid at all cost.

I recently needed to upgrade my Samsung S22 phone.
Callum was exceptionally helpful and charming, and it was a really positive experience. I am in my 70's, and not brilliant with technology but he was so patient. I would really recommend this store and Callum in particular

Pathetic service, useless product. Salesman slow, mumbling inaudible. I asked for sim for 1 week in Europe. Sold me a product which barely works with little or no coverage, and the slowest possible network every time.
Previously got generic type of sim at Heathrow, worked seamlessly, fast.
Avoid this dump.

Served by a lovely gentleman named Amz /Ahmed - My phone was barred from making outgoing calls as I ran up my bill. Amz addressed the issue in fantastic time. He provided a great Saving on International minutes as I call Australia and it cost me £228 - he provided me with 500 international minutes at only £11.40 a month - what a saving - he was so patient and caring. I highly recommend this store and its staff!!! Perfect guys and very smiley!!

Amz the store manager and Glen at the Vodafone Hitchin store assisted us in an on going issue with Vodafone Customer services with Network issues- What Vodafone Customers services failed in 5 days these fantastic guys sorted it in 5 mins. Very bubbly and fun guys. Will visit again thanks guys. Fantastic support from SM Luke

Lots of problems dealing with Vodafone phone service to get a new sim activated. Brought into the Vodafone Hitchin shop and was sorted in minutes! Great job guys?

Visited the Hitchin store Met with Amz and Mutahara the Store managers - Service was excellent- They were very polite, patient, bubbly and extremely fun and smiling. I purchased a beautiful Samsung Fllip 5. Such a happy and buzzing store. Thanks guys see you again for my hubbys Fold 6.
