WOW, am I impressed there?s always this stereotype going around that Wetherspoons is ?chavy? and ?dirty? but if there was any Wetherspoons to visit it is this one, the building is something exquisite, and the staff are extremely friendly.
We ordered food and drinks on the app and they came at the same time that was very well coordinated from the team
The food was brilliant the pepperoni pizza was very good it wasn?t hard crust but it wasn?t soft either, there was a good amount of pepperonis on my pizza, My son got the empire state beef burger and he said and I quote ?that burger was one of the nicest burgers I?ve ever had? we were very suprised at the quality of the food, I know it doesn?t mean a lot but I love what they?ve done with the menu, very happy with this Wetherspoons.

A manager was very friendly when there was a problem with ordering via the app it?s hard for an old man like me ! enquired about it and they instantly got me up and running. In addition to this superb customer service, when me and my son went into the garden it was an incredible and inviting atmosphere which made me ease in and get used to the pub since it was my first time going there. To anyone that is in the area I would highly recommend this place if you would like some grub and a couple drinks with friends or family.

So happy with my visit, Lauren at the bar was very accommodating and very kind, she recommended us drinks and was a pleasure to interact with her. The food was also great too, the garden has an amazing vibe. Very nice pub. Would recommend!!!

Avoid if there is a concert on at the Hitchin priory. Ordered food via the app, food came in good time but drinks didn't arrive for over half an hour. Waitress expressed that they were short staffed. The employees looked overworked and had a lack of interest in
providing good customer service. I decided to order another set of drinks at the bar and queued up for 35mins. With one person in front of me, the employee behind the bar completed half the order and disappeared. He came back, I questioned where he had gone as left us waiting and he boasted that it was too busy and he went for a break. We exchanged harsh words regarding professionalism in the work place. Finally i was served by another member of staff. Very very bad customer service and lack of management on that day.

Large pub/ restaurant, you?ll find your fav spot where you can sit comfortably. Bring laptop and plug in if you wish. Clean big lavatories. Can get really busy and loud at weekends! Recommend this Wetherspoon!

I'm surprised by some of the poor reviews and the average of 3.9. Just about the smartest Wetherspoons we've visited, comfortable seating and nicely laid out inside, plus a huge garden. The member of staff who served us was polite and friendly, usual bargain prices on coffee - with free refills - drinks, food.
