I love it here so much. SO much. The staff are amazing, the food is amazing, the price is great, I can’t rate this place highly enough!!! I honestly honestly love it here. I have never had a bad time. Thank you to ALL the staff who make it amazing every time! LOVE you :)

So disappointing. Been going for years but has definitely gone downhill. Food portions smaller and more expensive. Service shocking. Waiting staff are rude and rush you. Although they say they're open to 11pm, they were unable to accept a booking for 9pm stating that it was too late. Won't be trying them again ?
Due to the COVID-19crisis, we unfortunately have had no choice but to temporarily close unit further notice.
Regent Cottage has been serving our customers from Hitchin and surrounding areas for 40 years. We look forward to serving you again when we are able to re-open.
We also like to thank all our previous guests to the restaurant for their custom. and hope everyone can get through this together.
