Though a small shop has a good variety of items, including fresh fruit,veg and in store bakery. Very friendly staff, who enjoy my young granddaughter entertaining them all.

Small but perfectly formed store. All the basics plus a few luxuries can be found. Not many options for grocery shopping in Hitchin town. Handy for the quick purchase of a few items for lunch or dinner.

Back in December, I had a really bad fall in Hitchin High Street. My sister got me into Mark's & Spencer, and a lovely kind lady called Mary,who was just inside the door took care of me.
Mary got me a chair, offered me water and stayed with us until my husband arrived from Luton to collect us.
Mary went out of her way to be kind to me in my time of need. It turned out I had broken my ankle so her kindness made a horrible situation a little easier.
Such lovely staff in this shop,alway's go above and beyond .

I love M&S Hitchin! I remembered when I moved to the UK and went to M&S for the first time to buy me evening dinner, it?s quite a small one but I was literally there almost an hour just looking at everything with big eyes, I?ve never seen that organised supermarket ever before, and all the different options in the first salad/veg/fruit department are so much fun, LOVE

Friendly staff. My visits here are usually quite quick, however I have never experienced any problems here. There are plenty of self checkouts so I never have to wait long if there is a queue.

Love this shop! Always spotless, well stocked, staff are always reallyfriendly and helpful! Store just needs to be bigger (move it to where the old poundland used to be and expand it) good for business and for the town Merry Xmas to all the staff!

Small no help only usless check out machine's trying to line up raw meat to a key hole scanner then scanning other food is not food safe best way to spread food poisoning
