Bad service

Took my car in for a full service, got my car back with oil stains all over my car seats, dashboard, centre console, which is clear as day when you have cream leathers. I thought they are meant to use seat protectors and worst yet they have broken my back bumper and I didn?t realise until I got home as it was just hanging off. I was lucky it hadn?t fallen off whilst driving home, which could have caused other vehicles on the road to get damaged. Spent nearly £500 on getting a service and this is how they treat customers vehicles, no respect and potentially endangering other road users.

Super easy. Lots of available appointments without having to book a long time ahead. Able to book a specific slot as opposed to having to drop car off for the day. Transparent costs. Good communication. Would recommend.

Samuel Simmons was amazing. Not only did he take time to understand and resolve my AC issue on a busy Saturday, he also provided me with other advice and fixed my steering . He also took time to explain it all to me in a language a non mechanic would understand! Very patient and friendly man. Consideing it was a very busy day, he was very calm and efficient. Lovely staff.

Was made to feel welcome and given an approximate timescale for an exhaust repair.
Was informed by phone as to what checks had revealed regarding further work that was necessary and what was recommended.
Didn't feel pressured into agreeing to having the work done. Received good service throughout.

Simon was amazing. Not only did he take time to understand and resolve the issue and provide me with advice. He also took time to correct an issue created by another Kwik Fit in Waltham Cross who also were extremely rude to my daughter when she went in to replace her tyre.
I would 200% recommend Simon at Hitchin and would only ever go back to this location. Simon is a credit to your company. Thank you.

I booked to have 2 tyres fitted here and when arrived, I was barely greeted by the two members of staff sitting at the desks. I was rudely interrupted when talking to another member of staff by someone I think was called Ian. He was very rude, patronising and seemed to enjoy making people feel and look stupid infront of others, including me. I saw him interrupt a few interactions between public and staff, which appeared to be-little the member of staff originally dealing with something. I think he needs to learn some people skills and generally be a bit nicer to others. Won?t be coming here again.

It was refreshing to get some honest feedback on the state of the tyre. Some garages may have sugg4ested just swapping out the damaged tire for anew one, so I was pleasantly surprised that a patch was applied instead at reasonable cost. The only thing I though could have been done a bit better was after being contacted to inform me that the car was ready, somebody could have come in to the office (where I was waiting) to handle the payment and return of car and keys, but I had to wait about 20 minutes. Other than that, all good.

Always used this centre, the staff there are always friendly and happy to help. We have two centres in our town and we always receive a much friendlier service from Bedford road..
