This is our favourtie coffee shop in Hitchin. My son and I try and come here every Sunday and I couldn't recommend it more. The coffee is great, the staff are lovely and the cakes are always amazing.
Would definately recommend stopping here for a coffee!

Absolutely horrible! As I walked in, I was greeted by an extremely unhelpful and grumpy waitress. I ordered a sausage roll from their display case in the corner and it was not hot throughout, as if it was microwaved. There was no cutlery available at the table and I had to ask for a knife and fork three times.
I sat at a booth and the chair was damp. It is incredibly dusty and dirty inside, which I would like to add is ridiculously cramped and small for the amount of tables and chairs they have.
The food is okay, but it is quite odd that you have to stand in a line to order your food when there are many available waiters and waitresses.
The bubble and squeak is also very overpriced for what you get as there are no sides that come with it. There are many other places you could visit within walking distance. I do not recommend!

Enjoy coming here but had a really poor experience today.placed our order online and sat in the square.35 mins had passed and still not received anything after staff member had bought drinks out to the square twice and has seen us sitting there.I go into the shop and ask about our order which they get up on the screen.I am offered a refund or I can wait longer for my food to come with not a care.Not good enough.

I ordered the vegetarian breakfast and it was fantastic. The food was very fresh and plentiful. It included halloumi and spinach. I would highly recommend it. The cafe was comfortable with plenty of seating.

Highly recommend this place for lunch!! As a gluten free person it?s hard to find nice food but the ham and cheese melt was delicious!! Very friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere! Definitely worth a trip!!

Very nice place to eat lunch. Food really well cooked and tasty. Staff are attentive and efficient. Great atmosphere. Also dog friendly - we don't have a dog atm but lovely to meet other people's. We go here quite often.
