The servers were not very friendly and the atmosphere was a bit meh. Nice spot for a walk and tea though and nice food and tea. Shame about the service which felt off

We were rambling through Hitchin when we came across this tea shop and it gave us the excuse we wanted to have a pit stop. Most of us had piece of cake and tea, there were no complaints ☺️ Aldo we used the facilities which were clean.

From Emily's Tea Shop
We are a family run Teashop serving mainly drinks and homemade cakes, cream teas and giant toasted teacakes. We welcome walkers, cyclists, dog walkers and anyone else who just wants to get away from it all for a while.
Please do not park in The Valley as this is difficult for our neighbours. Please walk or cycle or park at the top of the stables accessed via the track off the B651 Hitchin Road.
