I want to commend Ayesha for her exceptional service and problem-solving skills. She efficiently helped me with my prescription issue on a weekend, going above and beyond to ensure I received my medication promptly. Her professionalism and kindness are truly appreciated.

Decent sized boots and always able to get whats needed.
My dad had a good experience at the pharmacy (I note many others having bad experiences with the staff and/ or pharmacy) but we didn't have any problem, and he was having to get his repeat medication/ prescription sent from his usual chemist to this one as was having to stay with me for a few months after having a broken arm and they were very good in allowing him to do so even though its not normally done. When they didnt have certain meds they made sure to tell us and check when they would receive them and give us a text.
Again not had much interaction with the shop floor staff, they're always working/ busy and give a smile if you do so.
Its quite a busy shop due to its location and i find it very convenient.

Decent selection, staff are friendly and you can tell are doing their absolute bedt however it is definitely understaffed with long wait times for prescriptions or help with medicine.

What?s wrong with some Hitchin Boots staff? Walked around the store for some time to find a staff member, obviously didn?t want to interrupt a lady at N7 counter who was helping another customer. Then finally found a lady at the check out counter who had to call someone to get me a perfume out of glass perfume counter. Service was just OK, but please ask your staff not to treat all your customers as thieves! I was not able to even look at the perfume box as Aisha would not even let me look at it! Literally I felt so awkward , I had to tell her that I?m not gonna run away with it! I understand some customer might not be genuine , I really don?t know, but I felt so uncomfortable, I purchased the bottle, but experience was so unpleasant, young staff members do need to learn how to treat their customers much better !!

Thanku pharmacy team . There was a pharmacist named Ayesha She helped me a lot. I have many prayers for her.. My tooth was in a lot of pain and she helped me a lot by telling me which ointment to apply and your problem will be solved.thanku ayesha and Boots pharmacy ??hitchin??

Any and all positive experiences I have had in this store have single handedly being undone by my interaction with Ayesha in the pharmacy today (01.04.2025 at 13:44). She is rude, extremely unpleasant ? obnoxious is not an understatement, condescending, and has absolutely no business working in a public/customer facing role!
I asked a question (may I please have a copy of the private prescription I was collecting as the only thing I had was a text message with a code for collection) which she rolled her eyes at, tapped her fingers on the desk and spoke over me and to me like I was simple. I had also told her she needed to tap something on her screen to allow me to pay by card as she hadn?t done it but was waiting for payment; to this she responded, ?I know? all while rolling her eyes at me. When I told her she was being rude and extremely unprofessional, she said in an extremely condescending and patronising tone whilst again rolling her eyes ?sorry you feel that way?. I explained it was not a feeling, she was being rude! I asked if her name was on the receipt to allow me to send an email complaint and leave this review, she rolled her eyes at me once more and ignored my question.
Will I return to boots in Hitchin, I am not sure, but probably not.
Will I ever return to the pharmacy in Boots in Hitchin, absolutely NOT!
The above was sent as an email complaint to Boots, but the 500 character limit meant some or the message was left out. If I could leave a zero google review, zero would not be a low enough score for the service being provided in this store by Ayesha in particular!

Noor the pharmacist and the other lady on shift (Sun 5 Jan-25), were superstars. My libre sensor had fallen off, and without it I cannot managed my TD1. They were able to advise how to order via the NHS app as an emergency Rx (new to me) and issue it to me there and than. Lifesavers, literally!

i walked inside and one of the workers kicked my toddler and dumped an entire bottle of shampoo over him! I will not be going again

The wait at the pharmacy is ridiculous. Today came back after 25 minutes (having been told it would be 15/20 mins) for the prescription to still not be ready. Had to wait a further 15 mins which means 40 minutes in total to collect one prescription.

I totally love Boots due to their great assortment BUT the lack of interest and professionalism from the staff is gobsmacking! 2 staff members were standing and talking loudly about their personal life, highly inappropriate and unprofessional, AND when I?m coming with the buggy they didn?t make way for me so I had to go zigzagging with the buggy just because they didn?t care about me as a customer ? and this happens regularly. For me, private conversations should not be held loudly in front of customers
