A good greasy spoon with good prices and good food. However I felt the service lacked slightly and the kitchen was rather loud - a door would sort this out.

Polite staff , lovely food and option to sit inside or outside which is nice when the weather is good. We sat outside and listened to a busker whilst we had breakfast.

Superb, huge breakfast. I was on my way to a meeting, was early so went for breakfast. I just happened to notice this unpretentious cafe at a time I wanted food and warmth. Food was well cooked and there was a lot of it.

Yes, I liked the people here. Very friendly and efficient, and, wow! what generous food portions!! Very good value here. I will go again when visiting Hertford.
