I am near the end of my 8 week course with Future Living Hertford and I have to say what a positive, informative and beneficial experience or has been. Our facilitator Nicola has been both supportive and encouraging and made space for the group and I to explore and navigate the rather tricky personal subject of domestic violence in a really honourable and helpful way. The group has worked really well together thanks to how Nicola has worked with us. I'm very pleased to have met these other, very normal guys trying to navigate something which is less abnormal now for men and I feel less ashamed and more empowered to own my present and future realities and move forward.

Future Living provides excellently tailored support to women through the Monica programme, helping those who experience domestic abuse. Equally the Wise Guys programme for men provides a supportive approach and ways to help with these issues. The staff are superbly equipped with their skills and experience to support women and men on the recovery journey.

The counselling at Future Living Hertford, Vale House, is not included in Paola's comments meant for the organisation that leased this building a long time before Future Living. This service is professional and reasonably priced offering counselling therapy for a variety of issues using a personal centred approach. It also offers free to access domestic abuse recovery programmes.

We do not realise how lucky we are to have this organisation and it's services for Hertford and surrounding districts.I speak from personal experience of dealing with the caring, skillful and dedicated staff who have helped some of my family over the various problems they have experiencd dealing with modern day living.I cannot recommend them highly enough, you or your loved ones my never need their services, but if they ever do, then this is the place to go.

SORRY THIS REVIEW IS MEANT FOR PASSMORES HOUSERating 0. AVOID AT ALL COST!. Extremely dirty throughout. Appalling hygiene standards.Like a very rundown 2 stars hotel. Bathroom grime and pubic hair. Lack of consistency with staff members. Depending on who you speak to, you'll get a different answer. Recent bed bugs outbreak. Medications times all over the place...you rarely get the meds at the time you are supposed to.Staff either ignore your concerns and complaints or they take their sweet time to get it sorted. They have consistely failed CQC surprise inspections since 2009 and they dont seem to care to improve. I dont know how Passmores House has gotten away with it all those years. And most importantly: People who use the service cannot be sure their complaints and concerns will be taken seriously or that adequate arrrangements for ppl who are VULNERABLE are robust. (rather non existent i'd say). The ony good thing is the food. But i'd still AVOID AVOID AVOID
