Friendly and helpful staff, always well presented. Mind you, it's on expensive side.

One of the very few service stations in Hertford. Sometimes you will need to queue

Most expensive station in Hertford, when in the history of fuel has diesel ever been the same as petrol.Pop over to Sainsbury's Hoddesdon which is 4.8 miles away and save10p a litre.

It's small and people get in the way but is ok

Unlike several other stations they don't have pay at the pump. This means that if the station gets busy quickly there is a large queue as there is only one cashier.Driving back onto the road is a bit finicky because cars come down the road quickly so it's not in the best place, but obviously that's not going to change.Overall it's just an average petrol station. The one saving grace that helps the three stars, is that it has a 24/7 Amazon locker round the side, so that even when the petrol station is closed, you can go there and return something to Amazon easily and quickly, without having to waste time parking in town and going to the post office for example.Would have gotten four or even five stars if it had pay at the pump. If Asda and Morrisons can do it there is no reason that ESSO can't make the switch considering their prices are higher.

This fuel station is in a very convenient location on the A414 and is the last chance for fuel for quite some distance, especially if you don't want to turn off at Welwyn Garden City, the store has been recently renovated and changed to a Londis which has resulted in increased prices, but has also increased the size of the store meaning they now hold a larger amount of stock giving more choice and even more convenience. The staff have always been friendly in this store!
