We?ve always enjoyed dining at Elle?s Kitchen, but last night was a huge letdown. Despite the restaurant being quiet, we were seated near staff gathering for order tickets, making it distracting. The restaurant was cold, and loud banging added to the discomfort.
Service was poor?our starters arrived far apart, and only one main was put through. By the time they noticed, I was already cold, overstimulated, and frustrated, so I didn?t bother reordering. The main that did arrive was mostly vegetables, with barely any beef.
After many great visits, this experience has really made us reconsider returning.

Nice little restaurant, food was ok but disappointed that our main dishes were packed with veg and only about 5 strips of meat.

Food is very basic, lacking in alot of flavour. We had sweet and sour chicken, singapore noodles, mushroom and onion beef, and more. Very small and very cold in the restaurant on a Friday evening. The waitresses are very kind.

Food took over an hour to come when we was told 30 mins which all arrived stone cold, food wasn't very appealing and the elles platter is not worth the £25 they charge when you get the smallest of items each and to top it of one of my items was missing when called to say it was missing they tried to call me a liar and took them 2 times to send it out and I'm currently still waiting for it to arrive 30 mins after the last delivery.

We had a super awesome time here. We were therefor my son's b'day dinner. The food, ambience and the service was top notch.
* Delicious authentic thai food.

I would recommend this as a must visit place in hertford.

Solo dinner, had pad seaw and lab chicken. Just right amount and favoured. Love Elle's story on the menu, what a culinary journey!

Tasty food, but could do with being spicier. My partner's Pad Thai didn't contain egg or peanut, he was sad as it was a birthday treat. My vegan dish was perfect! Go vegan ?

Lovely evening here and great food and service. We had a table for seven so just ordered the set menus which worked really well. Service was excellent.

Visited this restaurant on a Friday night for a quick meal after work. The food was average, we ordered the Tom yum soup, pork ribs in bbq sauce, Thai red curry & Pad Thai. The waitresses are friendly and polite, however only after I finished eating I realised they keep a box full of prawn crackers in a serving station of which the waitress uses her hands to grab and serve in a basket, not very hygienic practice, also her chipped nail polish made her hands look terrible. Please review your practice ASAP

Elle's kitchen have taken Shrinkflation to another level. Extremely small portions on the set menu. Not sure how a single small plate of pad thai noodles was meant to be for x3. Meat dishes had the majority of the meat substituted with vegetables. Very disappointing to feel completely ripped off.

We had a birthday meal here last night and were really disappointed. The room was really cold and our food luke warm at best. The meals were very bland and could of been microwaved.definately not home cooked which we were looking forward to. The lady who served us was very friendly and it all looked lovely but we paid 150 for a very bland disappointing meal.we won't be going back.
