Lunches cooked at Lunchtime so by dinner time was dry and reheated.
Sides were cooked and microwaved.
Deserts weren?t made on the premises (no issue with this) but initially tried to claim they were.
Toilet initially seemed clean but areas covered in mould.
Nice location, especially as you can?t hear the traffic or other outside noise.
Staff were friendly and helpful but didn?t communicate amongst themselves as multiple different staff came to take our orders

Went to the ABBA night 22.08.25 and it was fantastic! Its a beautiful pub, not eaten there personally but the food I see looks amazing. Bar Staff are so polite & helpful, even they had a boogie (obviously when not serving!)
The place is spotless. Huge garden area. Plenty of parking. Tribute band was amazing. Highly recommend this pub!

Popped in with friends for a meal on our way home from a day out .. been several times previously and the food is always good , even the Sunday roast is great ! Last night I had fish n chips that were the best ever ! Hake was the fish in batter which was unusual but Andy divine !! Chips were thick cut , crispy and hot and plenty of them either mushy peas and sliced gherkins also on the plate . I actually thought they were tripled cooked hand cut but on asking was told no but whatever chip they were the best I have ever had .. my husbands had chicken and mushroom pie and gammon steak, egg, fresh roasted pineapple and peas and chips and a fried chicken ( in bread tiny ) with chips was all really good !!! Really frost and welcoming servers and they checked in on us which is so nice . Never had a bad meal ..

Had a Sunday roast here. The pub is lovely and has a nice outdoor area. The staff were attentive. I had the fillet beef and the portion was tiny. It was so small I thought I?d got a half portion. The green cabbage was also yellow. I?d definitely come back for a drink, but I?m not sure I?d have food there again.

Sunday lunch for two of us
The pub was very busy inside so we were asked if we would like to sit on the patio area outside. Our waitress seated us and came out with menus a couple of minutes later. Her name was Celine. Lovely lady, very attentive, polite and efficient througout. She came to us several times to ask if we needed anything else. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Celine for a very nice afternoon. Food, (roasts) was very tasty too.

We had a delicious meal, including a very tender steak. There was also a good selection of delicious vegetarian dishes. The dessert selection was fantastic. The prices are good, and the staff is very friendly.

We hebben heeeeerlijk gegeten, oa een hele malse steak. En er was ook een goede keuze aan heerlijke vegetarische gerechten. De keuze aan desserts was fantastisch. De prijzen zijn goed en t personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Been here a few times staying with work. Pasta dishes on the specials menu are always fantastic. Desserts are amazing and the beer is always good. Special mention to Celine (?), the young waitress, she did absolutely everything to look after us, she really is a credit to the establishment. Attentive, polite and caring.

A conveniently located, friendly pub with beautiful food. The mussels were beautifully cooked in a rich cream sauce. I would definitely recommend.
