Toby Carvery Hemel Hempstead popped in after spending the day at warehouse 66 after buying way to many books. I always worry about eating out due to my nut allergy but the moment we got sat down at a table and our server Holly came over, she was super sweet brought over a iPad to check my allergy and offered to help any way she could. Amazing service and super polite and kind. I ate my food which was great and felt comfortable in the knowledge there was not nuts in any of it. Very please and big thank you to Holly.

It is what it is. Buffet roast dinner. Food is okay, portions are massive. There's nothing not to like about a Toby carvery.

Food was not hot, had to ask Waitress to put in the Microwave. Asked for one more slice of beef and I was told I wasn?t aloud which I thought was very rude. Was seated not on a proper table which was meant to be for 2 but they stuck another armchair there, so I was in the way of everyone walking through. Waitress was good. That?s all I can say really

Went here today to celebrate mother's day with my kids, we was a minute late of their cut off of 15 mins. To be told that my table was no longer available because a computer told them and took our booking off, I asked them its only a minute over we were stuck in traffic for them to tell us we had to sit by the entrance and go to bar to pay as they don't table serve by entrance door it was awful and being made to sit there with loads of people standing next to us to get checked in...also sat there it was chilly with the door opening every 5 mins, I complained and told us that the only thing they can do is hope someone else is late so we can have their table made to feel like we hadn't booked and they were doing us a favour when our table was still available in the main area, then we had to keep asking the waitress to take our drinks order as no one came over and this was after we were sat in the main area. Awful experience and food wasn't great or that hot definitely won't be going back..

Everything had been out for ages, all the meat was dry, Yorkshires were so dry the knives struggled to cut them. Vegetables had dried up, the cauliflower in the cauliflower cheese was rock hard. My daughter had wanted to come here for ages as she loves a roast dinner and she was so disappointed. Thankfully had 25% off so it wasn?t overly expensive but still a costly lesson learnt.

A great place for church friends to gather and share table fellowship. Enjoyed being able to linger longer as it wasn?t a busy time for the restaurant
