A well stocked shop, with everything from the essentials to goodies. However you have to be careful what you pick up. Firstly because so many products are priced ridiculously high. But mainly because I have been sold multiple out of date products from them in recent months. One was some chocolate ? no big deal. But the other was a Rustlers burger (which has a super long shelf life usually, so no idea how they sold it out of date). Wouldn?t recommend and I won?t be shopping here again.

Spar is a great shop for grocery shopping on the way home from work.Great selection of food and wine at competitive prices. Friendly staff.Parking outside. Bus stop serving buses 20 to Holywell and 302 to Welwyn garden city via St Albans town centre and stationclose by.

I am so disappointed. You can't blame the store for inconsiderate customers nor wearing masks, but of the three staff I saw only one was wearing her mask correctly. The woman who served me, without a mask then turned, coughed full force into her hands, and carried on despite bottles of hand sanitizer right there. Disgusting.

Tripped over a basket a member of staff was stood next to. Told I was the fourth person to do that, so I said it shouldnt of been there as I hurt my toe. Then was faced with abuse from a member of staff and her friend she was chatting to who weren't two metres apart for socially distancing. I had to squeeze past them as they wouldn't move. Will not be attending this shop again, no apologise just abuse and childish comment as I was leaving.
