Worst bakery I?ve ever been to. Cakes were all stale, Obviously been lying around for a day or so. And the Staff looked miserable and more interested in chatting to each other. Shall not be returning.

Horrible customer service! Coffee smells fish and tasted awfully when complained the lady said it was their normal coffee! Never coming back again!

Worst bakery ever.. went in and waited in line and they just kept serving other customers who walked in after me.. ended up walking out because I was being completely ignored, not exactly great customer service. Avoid this place absolutely shocking.

Had a buffet for my husband?s 90th birthday. Food was absolutely beautiful. Everyone asked where it was from and it was the best they?d had. Thank you Prudence Bakery for helping make our day

If you're open until 4pm, why switch the tills off? I got there with my children (as they have school) at 3.32pm & you'd switched the tills off. When I asked when you closed, you lied & said you close at 3.45pm. No you don't! This has happened several times. I get you want to go home but maybe get another job where you finish earlier? I'm sure you can do your tidying but still let people purchase things. Maybe whoever the Manager is should look at the takings after 3.30pm. If they're low it's because the staff are switching the tills off early. You can't expect people to have cash on them or go & find cash just because you want to stop serving early at the till!Kid-friendliness: Don't try going after school with your kids. They clearly don't want to serve people after 3.30pm.

It is so lovely to see a lovely bakery with items all freshly baked on the premises. The pastry on all their range is amazing, tasty and just the right side of crisp. The fillings are plentiful and delicious. The cake range is eye popping with beautifully balanced ingredients. Lovely rolls and fresh bread. Staff are welcoming and polite and on dry days you can sit outside and watch the day go by. Now, I will talk about the coffee. This unfortunately was a great disappointment. Despite two of us asking for stronger versions, it was to be frank like dishwater. I don't enjoy saying this but I was too embarrassed to say anything at the time. Do not let this distract you from the bakery itself. It is treat to have it on the precinct.

Prices are fairly typical. Bacon roll was average, the bacon being too dry.I don?t know how much is baked on site, if any at all?I?d give it another go if I was close by, but I wouldn?t go out of my way to revisit.

Had a tuna mayo roll but the roll was dry & not buttered to the edges only in the middle.Asked for black coffee but opened it back at work to find white coffee.Very disapointing.

The staff are great. Always friendly, always helpful.The food is great quality, too.I'm happy to give my custom to local, independent businesses. Particularly when they offer great quality and service. Pruden's certainty does that.
