Lovely hotel, rooms have been refurbished to a lovely standard. Only dropped a star because the shower isn't very powerful and the glass around it leaks. Also the menu for the restaurant is extremely minimal, as I can't eat anything spicy the only thing left that I liked was a burger.

Given the proximity to Warner Bros and the convention, we decided to book.
An error.
Isolated from the world, it forces you to always take a taxi and taxi prices are not cheap until London.
Small rooms and zero assistance.
We had forgotten the electrical adapters, they didn't have any at the hotel and they didn't bother to find any.
For dinner, being so isolated, we had dinner - English style - in the hotel, where a sandwich each and a few chips costs around 100 pounds.
Not to be repeated!

Everything above the ground floor entrance was spot on, amazing value for money.
Why on earth have you allowed the ground floor entrance to become so untidy! Nothing that a good clean wouldn't sort out First impressions.......

After staying the night at this premier inn in hemel Hempstead. I have to mention the 2 girls that were not only running reception, they were taking orders in the resturant, running the bar and along with the kitchen staff playing waitress as well. Despite the being short staffed Aireen and Emily were very welcoming, happy and showed brilliant customer service. They both desreve a pay rise and are credit and an asset to the company. Very happy with our stay would highly recommend staying here. Food was good and the staff were great in the morning to

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of night. Everything went well and I would stay again. The down sight was that the food menu at the restaurant does not have a lot of other options especially in regards to meat. Would really appreciate if a mixed grill or a steak would be included in the menu

First visit since the refurbishment. Room was very nice; coffee pod machine and refrigerator two of the new features. I have been visiting this particular hotel for many years and it is nice to see it getting a facelift.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting harry potter and the local area, we loved our room and the staff were very helpful and polite, the room was perfect the only niggle we had was that the menu was small there were no other options that we was told about also the work persons completing the renovations kept staring at our 14 yr old daughter and they would smoke at the entrance even though there are signs clearly stating no smoking, other than that a very pleasant stay. Parking was easy at the riverside and there are a good selection of shops very close by.

Lovely fresh new look room, looks like it has been refurbished.
Negative. The new tv has a set voulume, unfortunately it is set to low.
New taps in the the basin ate to slow at filling, due to the tape design. Although the shower is lovely.
Would recommend staying, easy access to London by train.
