Lovely food, fantastic service on Thursday evening. Angelo was brilliant - he got me some extra chilli jam for free when I didn?t realise I could ask for more, and it really made the meal even better. He?s fantastic with customers and a real asset to your staff team!

A nice place for some delicious chicken. The place is normally pretty empty. They have an nhs discount but its minimal. Used to be like 10-20 percent its like 5% now

DO NOT order Nandos online for the Hemel Hempstead venue. I ordered via the Nandos app and the order did not go through, but hey of course the thieving scammers debited my hard earned £21 i? The Agent I spoke to said casually "yeah, you know this happens sometimes". Seriously?! Just a total lack of interest at the fact that customers are being ripped off 24-7. I now have to wait 72 hours for a refund. Great. The Manager I spoke to (Kyro) confirmed there's an IT issue with the payment system which "they're working on". More lame excuses. Good job Nandos??Feel proud at delivering such a dishonest, immoral, unscrupulous, unprofessional and insensitive service. I have deleted the app. Please do not waste your time with these incompetent people. Stick to Uber or JE. At least you get your order ?

Dan at nandos Hemel Hempstead was absolutely amazing!!! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make sure we got the right order even though it was towards the end of the day and stock was low. She is an asset to the company and should be a very valued member of staff. Thank you Dan, I hope you get the recognition you deserve :)

lovely young lad named jamie greeted us at the door and was very polite. he made sure to check for no allergies straight away and was helpful informing me of the kids menu for my little sister especially since it was her first time at nandos

Jamie was amazing, his service is top notch and he was very friendly and welcoming. Took me to my seat and cleaned my table and asked if i had any allergies and if i knew how to order. Jamie should be a manager as he obviously knows what he is doing to a high standard

This was a mixed experience, the food was well made and presented in the usual way, but the ordering service was abysmal.
I rang in advance to check if it was busy, a bright chirpy lad answered and was helpful.
Upon entering (and later leaving) the same young lad (I think) welcomed/bid us farewell, with a smile and was friendly.
The app ordering unfortunately doesn't allow for dietary restrictions and with a nut allergy sufferer with us this means we have to order at the bar. This was a slow and painful service... The lady (with the tartan shirt) seemed apathetic to service or questions...she took ages and really didn't want to help or assist. She also managed to put the wrong drinks on the order, if you ask for cider on draught that's not the same as general beer...(Which incidentally we discovered they only did by the bottle after being told they wouldn't change it) I asked if they had butterfly chicken (as the app didn't display it but the paper menu did) I was sort of ignored, asked again and she just said no...the 2 person platter had it on, so have they discontinued it for one person? Still haven't a clue as no interest was given.
Food itself came out hot, and promptly, and our server was friendly and came back to check (within 10 mins) if everything was okay.
Rather odd but they didn't have salt and pepper shakers, and I was given (by a very nice friendly Indian waitress) a handful of sachets. I only saw one pepper shaker on the condiments shelf also?! I know most people like the sauces but just odd...
The restaurant itself was clean and tidy with lots of space and seating, even for waiting at the door.
Quite loud with very few natural sound barriers but it's a chain, so really not that big of a deal with mains and drink averaging £14-20pp really not that bad.
Disabled access was great with lots of space and large round tables for seating (I would call and pre check). It's bit of a faff distance wise from a disabled space to the door, if you need to use the ramp(but as we all know that's normal everywhere).
Huge carpark with loads of car parking spaces, and lots of disabled spaces (even though half had forgotten to put their blue badge in their cars...but hey ho nevermind.
Overall a nice restaurant with great food vs cost. Other than the till server who walked round the restaurant like a snail with total reluctantance to work... Maybe she could have some extra listening and speed training...just a thought...
