If I could but 0 stars I would, I brought a £400 tent with cash as its still legal tender for my family holiday they where very happy to take my money to which when we got on holiday the tent was faulty in many places but still able to use thankfully when I got home I tried to get a refund to which STEVEN refused as apparently they didn't have enough money to refund me in cash to which I said well back on my card would be fine he still refused to help me and told me I would have to wait until they had enough cash in the till and he had no idea when this would be I had to argue with him to contact other branches he was very unhelpful and and even went on to tell me he couldn't ring his manager as its his day of I had to wait and I said well call someone else he said no, my manager has been a manager for 20 years and trained so many people he's told me there is nothing we can do so I then had to rush to Milton Keynes to get my refund from gooutdoors the staff where amazing and said they would be reporting to there area manager on how I had been treated and apologies for what had happened oh and he could have put it on my card in the store steven also told me if I didn't get to MK by 4.30 I probably would get a refund so I rushed back to my car and wheeled the 32kg tent over my foot and still 2 days later swollen and bruises I would not give hemel hempstead your custome and would not give them cash !

Just arrived at 1.40pm for a sign to get put up in the window. Open at 3pm. All the staff are going on lunch and to the bank

Millets Hemel High Street...7-star service. The young lady who served me (Martina I think... I'm sorry if I'm wrong, your badge was quite worn ? - give her a new one!) dealt with my return from Blacks with utmost politeness, professionalism and was so helpful I did at one point wonder if I'd slipped into an alternative universe. Nope, I was definitely in Hemel!Not only did she deal with my return, she dealt with all other questions, including making phone calls to support my cause with another order cancellation and all with a smile. Top notch! This is what I call customer service.Not to leave the other two gents out who were working there too. Both were chatty, cheerful and only too willing to help me. I also ended up buying from here simply because I trusted them completely, contrary to Blacks who couldn't even send me the right item... Hence my in-store return).In this day and age of online shopping where there's no need to deal with anyone (normally), actually stepping into a store and receiving such exemplary service reminded me how vital our bricks and mortar high streets are, more especially when they're staffed with employees of this calibre.Very very well done Martina (God, I hope I got it right), the two other gents whose names I didn't get sadly (gent with beard who I have dealt with before who was superb then too and the gent without the beard (sorry sir) - I know, I'd be great at "Who's Who").Support these excellent employees and shop at this store.Thanks.

Always had a good shopping experience here with knowledgeable friendly staff but today I had to use the store to drop off a UPS parcel. The staff were just brilliant. Helped me check all the requirements, correct some issues and offered tape and materials to repack the item once they were sorted. You don?t often get great customer service but this was beyond great. And if you get to read this Millets THANK YOU ?

Got a nice pair of vegan-friendly boots there, on sale! The staff were all very pleasant and more than willing to grab a different size when the first one was too small. Nice clean, well-organised shop with lots of clothes and interesting gadgets for hiking and camping.
