Hi, I've had this experience again and again at this C.E.X. location. It gets me asking: What?s the point in having 18 days on your receipt if after two days you?re gonna refuse me a refund!? Absolutely awful, and I mean unbelievably terrifying bad customer service, they kept trying to 'plug' their socials to me since I said I promote peoples socials as a job. Like bud, if you want it you can ask for my buisniess card, not trying to get it for free. When I was trying to get what needed to be done, they wouldn't stop saying things like/ Simmilar to: 'mate please promote my social media, I don't wanna pay, I'll give you anything, a cheeky BEEP?' (17/02/24) item I tried to return with no receipt was boxed and unbelievably damaged. This store always (BEEP) despite your website stating a higher price for the item under a popular video.

Went to sell a Xbox that had hardly been used . The staff member said they couldn?t take it as the hdmi port had play in it and advised me where to get it repaired . Got it repaired, took it back to be told we can?t take it as someone has opened it ??

This store always low balls when offering money for goods despite your website stating a higher price for the item under the same condition . Had to wait 50 minutes to buy a single game, and its not the first time this has happened, could do with an express lane for quick purchases, staff dealing with me were fine but other staff in the store were extremely rude to an old lady that didn't understand tech, the rest of the staff were just standing around chatting about there weekend and not helping other paying customers

CEX Buy assorted older tech for reasonable prices (especially if accepting CEX vouchers). Good prices for old Switch games etc. Then good 2nd hand kit with guarantee. Have used many times, never disappointed.

Everything would have been okay If the person testing my AirPods didn?t have the worlds most sensitive hearing. Forget minimum wage - Charles Xavier needs to hire her himself before the military do. Wow. Hemel Hempstead CEX was the Worst experience ever! And have been to MANY back in London.Was quoted £588 voucher online for A grade s22 ultra. Took it to my now local CEX on 02.01.24 and a friendly staff member inspected the phone and ran a few checks. Quoted it as an A grade but then offered me a lower price than I was quoted online . I showed him the email which stated what the A grade was worth and he seemed as if he was about to ring it through but then another staff member came from quickly behind the scenes once he heard the words '£588' and near enough grabbed the phone to inspect for himself!He was very abrupt and had no customer service skills whatsoever as he proceeded to tell me the phone had a scratch on it. I asked where?In fact, what he pointed out was less than a hairs width line right by the charging port which was only visible in a certain light and looking from an inch away ! (which is to be expected after a year of use and the only bit a phone case doesn't cover ?, and I STILL didn't see it until I checked again the car! )but the rest of the phone was in ABSOLUTELY PRISTINE condition !He stated that the phone had to be brand new to be mint and graded A . Then began to sound cocky saying I need a 'brand new' box and a 'brand new' charger. Both of which I actually had ? 'Then told me to read the sign!' Completely rude vile man.Tell me, why would some buy a NEW phone and sell it to a second hand shop!? ? his excuses were pathetic and felt I was being taken advantage of. Someone more desperate may have sadly parted with and extra £200 !Anyway went to another CEX in Hatfield and guess what .....I got my £588 voucher! Thanks to people who actually know their tech and are truly honest.Will never return. Avoid these thieves !

If you want a good retro store that has everything at cheap prices then come here if you are visiting the London area in England or if you live in the London area or England in general!!! I just visited a friend from England and I'm really, really happy!

Always good for finding that bit of tech you want but don?t want to buy new. Prices can be somewhat over what they really should be.
