Dalton Lodge
I am extremely disappointed with the level of care at Dalton lodge. While the home itself is beautiful, the standard of care provided to residents is unacceptable. My aunty was left in her pad for over 24 hours, resulting in red, raw skin?this is completely inhumane and neglectful.
The staff are clearly overworked and stretched too thin, which isn?t fair on them or the residents. I have spoken to multiple staff members, and they have informed me that cleaners?who do not have food and hygiene certificates?are responsible for cooking meals. This is a serious health and safety concern.
The manager appears more focused on themselves rather than the well-being of residents or staff, showing little compassion or accountability. No matter how lovely a care home looks, it?s the quality of care that truly matters, and unfortunately, this home is failing in that regard.
I would not recommend this home to anyone looking for proper care for their loved ones. Urgent changes need to be made to improve staff support, resident care, and overall management.

What an absolute inconsiderate organisation. Ongoing building works for months with non-stop digging, drilling, banging, beeping even at 7am on a Saturday morning!! It's a small site yet they've been digging and re-digging the same area since the Summer! This is a quiet area I really hope it stays that way once they finally re-open this site after closing down for 12 years!!
