Took over 90 mins to receive meals when received was well done , I asked med-rare absolute joke when got was over done bad service in total 2 hrs 30 mins for starter main and bill do not rate chefs as nt for a clue how to cook steaks

Not great. Being told the Manager basically wants the table cleared and you to leave is not the best. I did ask do you want us to leave. Didn't quiet expect that answer.
Not like you were full up. Tables were free.
I use this restaurant for family meet ups.
Not any more we will be finding somewhere else.
You did sing happy birthday earlier to me which I thought was a lovely touch. Everything unfortunately fell flat ? ?

Great find, for a lovely steak meal. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. We attended during lunch so not much of an atmosphere but it was very pleasant. Emmalina looked after us well. We will return.

I came here about six years ago, I didn't think much of it.

Was a pretty horrific experience.
As regular guests at this establishment, my family and I came for dinner as a final family meal before the children left for university.
Our booking was for 7:15. It wasn?t until 7:45 a drink order was taken or our existence acknowledged. Our said server (Maria A) has given us previous issues and we never complained but enough was enough. It was at this point I asked to speak to the manager to try and resolve the issues we had already faced within a mere hour of being in the building.
Credits to the kitchen, our starters arrived, just before our drinks and on the whole the food was good. The steaks were lovely although chips were cold. I was fed up with complaining and just tried to enjoy our evening.
We finished our mains, although it took our severer another thirty minutes to clear our table and present us with dessert menus. She didn?t even fully clean the table, she only cleared half. After waiting ANOTHER extended period of time, I had to ask the manager for our desserts. By this point the restaurant was virtually empty, and we could not fathom a reason as to why there was still a delay.
Really disappointing that a special family event was ruined. Coming to miller and carter, you expect a higher standard of service, which we have previously experienced. I hope these issues are addressed within the business and no other customers face a similar experience to what we have faced.

Emily was a brilliant and courteous waitress. Nothing was too much trouble for her to get. Everything came out on time and was gracefully delivered. Thank you for a lovely experience.
