I ordered a coffee and a hot chocolate at Nero in Hatfield and decided to watch the barista to see if they cleaned the coffee machine parts between drinks. To my surprise, they didn?t. There was still leftover coffee grounds from the previous order. This is unacceptable and makes me question their hygiene standards. Definitely not coming back!

I usually enjoy visiting Caffè Nero, but I was quite disappointed with the hygiene standards at the Galleria Hatfield branch. I noticed that some baristas were handling drinks while repeatedly touching their face, nose, and hair with their bare hands, which is quite unhygienic. Given that they are preparing food and beverages for customers, I would expect better hygiene practices.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that staff follow proper hygiene protocols, such as washing hands frequently and avoiding unnecessary contact with their face while handling drinks. This would help maintain the quality and cleanliness that customers expect.

Went in to shop on 7th; super busy day, they had a queue out the shop. Whilst in line I witnessed some terrible customers who spoke to staff atrociously. I was served by tall, brown girl, she was amazing, interacted super nicely with my family and even made my daughter smile. Came to leave a review and saw so many negative comments - they can't be true all the staff were wonderful and helpful - coffee was great, full food availability and great Christmas songs playing!!!! Can tell customers have no patience - stressed from shopping with kids then come in store and blame the staff - calling them rude is definitely inaccurate

The girl who took our order was very rude, tall brown curly hair. She just had to make a coffee and spoke very rudely that the cafe closes in 2 mins so we need to order, but the way we were spoken to was extremely rude. Unsatisfactory service

This is now my local and i go every week - the staff are always so friendly. Its a busy branch but the staff have always been so approachable and really patient when they take your order (even when it's no longer listed on their specials). The coffee is great and always made with attention to detail. Definitely recommend this one.

Nero at the Galleria is my normal go to coffee place. But today the racket from the BH Month stalls drove me to the other place (no names) today.

Got given the wrong toastie, and the toastie was soggy and not at all crispy. Coffe is alright though. Would not get toastie here again.

Very rude staff, short blond girl very unprofessional, she doesn?t do anything might as well just stay at home if she doesn?t want to work. The coffee she made was disgusting and she didn?t offer us anything she kept forgetting what we were saying to her. Me and my friend both felt sick after we drank what she made. Disgusting staff, disgusting drink, disgusting food.

Tall and light brown skin barista lady was so rude and service hella slow. Don?t bother. What a joke. She was super slow and hasn?t got a clue how to operate or run the place although she looked like someone senior. Hire someone who can actually manage
