Visited on a quiet Saturday morning.
This Costa branch offers a typical, no-frills coffee experience near Harpenden station.
Highlights:

The branch was noticeably quiet during my visit, which made for a peaceful coffee break. Service was efficient, if not particularly warm.
The staff handled orders promptly without much chit-chat.
As expected from Costa, the coffee was consistent with their standard offerings. Nothing stood out as exceptional, but there were no complaints either. The outdoor extra tables allowed to enjoy the rare decent weather (alas, front is in shade).
Overall, this Costa delivers exactly what you'd expect - a reliable, if unremarkable, coffee experience.
It's a convenient option for commuters or those in need of a caffeine fix in the area, but don't expect any surprises or memorable touches.

We now enjoy coming to this Costa branch. Spacious, lots of space. Don?t feel crammed in. Nice and clean. Nice and warm and cozy in winter. All in all a nice ambiance conducive to a relaxed coffee experience.

Lovely bright clean airy store all the staff was very attentive and friendly we requested music to b turned down or off as was carrying out a conference call the manager did so and asked to inform once meeting finished to turn back on lovely flat white

The barista had a nice welcoming smile and as always the coffee and muffins were great. The High Street Costa is maybe due for a makeover?
