Too dirty, too small, and too crowded.
Please Caffè Nero management shut this place and open in a bigger better location in town. This one is too small.

Sadly I have to post hoping that management read this. The place is absolutely filthy. Every surface needs to be deeply cleaned, the cake display is so dusty, the metallic appliances are stained with spillages front and side. Tables not wiped down. The coffee making area disgusting. Dirty cloths used to wipe the coffee nozzle. I dread to think what the toilets are like.

Good coffee ? but tables not cleaned ( crumbs etc).Empty cups etc not cleared. The door mat needs the odd hoover and door window is full of fingerprints. But then again you can't be on your phone and working at the same time.

The service was appalling, the dark haired lady that served us today had such an attitude and it seemed like clients ordering was such an inconvenience for her. Sorry we were interrupting your chatter with your colleague by keeping the business afloat.

Towards the end of a few hours out to wander around the shops in Harpenden, waiting for the bus back to Luton. Nice skinny latte and chocolate rice crispie cake. ?

First time visited this store and hand on heart, it is the filthiest one I have visited (minging). Bottoms of our latte mugs crusted with coffee grounds, table sticky, floor filthy, grime under the shelving, bottom of cake fridge filthy. This is long term ground in dirt and maybe they give it a cursory wipe over at end of day but not good enough. The bins are overflowing outside and are located next to the tables. Do Caffè Nero have senior overall managers who inspect their stores? If yes, this one has been missed out for many months!

My favourite coffee in Harpenden. Always friendly and recognise their customers so know your order before you even say it! ?Usual please!?Furniture a little bit shabby but always busy! Pet friendly.

I use this branch every weekend to get coffees for my mother, wife & self. I get takeaways as my mother is housebound. Today, Sunday 14/01/2024, I bought 2 Cortados & 1 regular Mocha. They only like warm when we got to my mothers house less than 10 minutes later. Your coffee is not cheap & I am very disappointed in what I used to think was the best branch of Neros in my area.

We ordered Capuchino and Americano (winter blend). Dissapointed with taste. No coffee flavour. Americano tasted like hot water. Capuchino didn't taste well either.Disinterested staff.

This place is the worst coffee shop in Harpenden. It doesn't look like it has been cleaned for months. Inside the window ledges are filthy and trays are not removed from tables promptly so customers have to use messy tables. Dogs are allowed and 5 were inside, which is unhygenic where food is served. One dog kept yapping and the owner didn't seem to bother stopping it. Outside there are large wheeled waste bins one of which was so full the lid was open. Tables and chairs are located beside the bins, not a nice customer experience.

I waited in the queue for about 5 mins whilst someone was being served and another waiting. The person being served left leaving myself and 1 other. Then someone else came in and stood next to the lady being served. She then left and despite me being in the queue fir sometime I was ignored whilst the other person got served. There were 3 oeople on shift, 1 doing paperwork on the counter, 1 filling up cups and 1 serving but they all failed to see me. Not great service at all. The coffee isn't great and decor a little dated. There are other coffee shops in town, including speciality and will go to these places in future. They do have a good amount of seating out the front and are dog friendly
