Thursday March 7th saw the 56th Annual Dinner of The Society of Hertfordshire Golf Captains held for the second time at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club and it was a fantastic success. 134 members and guests from across the South East and Hertfordshire Golf Clubs were treated to an exceptional meal at the club and were entertained by ?Top Comic? Ian Irving. The staff at the club went the extra mile to deliver a quality meal on a tight timeline to an impeccable high standard. The chef, front of house and all the staff were on top form and Aldwickbury Park Golf Club can hold their heads high and feel proud in their role in making our dinner stand out from the crowd. Exceptional food, decent wine and great company in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I am sure the Past Captains will be returning here again.Eric Diment, Hon Secretary

We returned to Aldwickbury for our PTA School Ball after our successful event last year. Holly and her team are helpful and flexible putting the event together and the staff on the night are incredibly helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The quality of the food is great and there is a good selection of drinks available. We look forward to coming back in 2025.

Absolutely recommend Aldwickbury for your wedding venue. My daughter was married here at the weekend. The staff were amazing so professional and friendly nothing was to much trouble, the venue was set perfectly just as she wanted, the views were beautiful and you could see the fountain which our guests were quite taken with. Everything went without a hitch and prior to the wedding she and her husband were on kept updated every step of the way which made a relaxed and happy time for everyone

We had a Xmas dinner party we were put in a large room no Music not that warm and food for a Christmas dinner was poor 3 very small hardly roasted potatoes 3tiny sprouts and frozen vegetables like you would put in a stew not much of it so disappointing pud not brilliant ,

Course in very good condition but a very slow round. It took over 5 hours to get round. Nobody on the course trying to hurry people up. Won't be returning as the bar and pro shop has gone over to card only.

We booked our wedding here and it was amazing! From start to finish all staff were helpful, attentive and ensured we had the best experience possible at this venue. The grounds were amazing for our wedding photos. Highly recommend

My first 18-holes on any course in Herts. The course layout was fantastic, offering great views, as one played. The fairways and greens at Aldwickbury were immaculate and well-kept. The clubhouse staff was friendly. Amazing day!! If you have hip or knees issues, I recommend a buggy.

We started planning our wedding day with aldwickbury a year and a half before our actual date on 10.06.23. We enjoyed coming to the venue to have chats about the day, tbey were always there on the phone or via email with any questions or queries we had.The space was perfect for us as it was big and had a patio area for the evening. The bar was the best wedding venue bar we'd seen and we knew our guests would like it. Recently fitted with a cocktail machine, which I took full advantage of.The day couldn't have run more smoothly. We were met by our wedding co ordinator, who we had been planning with, with a nice cold alcoholic beverage upon arrival (well needed) the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you! We were then passed onto the evening team who we hadn't met but tbey certainly delivered a great service. They were very happy and helpful and listened to all my instructions I had left for them the day before. The tables and room were set up beautifully. Even when we had our speeches the staff all stopped what they were doing and sat down to listen so that there was no noise and everyone could hear - small things that make a big difference.We had a food tasting with the chefs and had a table set up for us how it would be for the day. The food was delicious! And I mean delicious, as was the buffet food in the evening.Please book your wedding with aldwickbury golf club, you will not be disappointed. We recently had our wedding at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club and was so happy that we definitely made the best choice with venue.From looking round the venue, to booking, to having our 6 + 1 month meetings and all my many questions in-between they were brilliant. When I dropped off some decor the day before, they made everything so stress-free. On the morning when I arrived they even came out to double check everything was set up correctly, you could tell how much they cared.The venue was so clean, well kept and you get the ceremony room, breakfast room + the terrace to yourself and your guests which we loved as a few venues we looked at had other weddings on at the same time which just wasn't for us. We really felt special we were the only wedding that day. The grounds were perfect for photos too. We used Lewis (Pho2U) and was the best decision, he was perfect. The venue and Lewis worked hand in hand together it was amazing.The package we chose was fantastic value for money, the food delicious (so many guests commented this too) and everyone there helped make our day every bit as amazing and special as we could have hoped for.Special mention to Paige, Lisa, Maddie, Saffron + Liz. But every staff member on the day was amazing.Thanks so much all for giving us a perfect day. Courtney + Josh x

Driving range reviewExcellent facility and not too expensive considering that it has a fully operational Trackman facility. Excellent for working out real world club ranges and keeping a record of where you are hitting the balls. Drinks table service as well is the final plus!

Lots of interesting holes, with all kinds of slope. Fair greens. Good views. Excellent meal afterwards.
