Great little village pub, lovely garden with some pet goats, sheep, ducks and pond. Nice food, reasonably priced. Drinks are well priced. Lovely place!

Wasps we're attacking us both visits. If there is something that could be done to prevent as many perhaps.
But the actual pub and restaurant are fantastic and a great family day out. Staff are nice and helpful too

Really nice pub run by some lovely people. Food is good and well portioned and priced. The garden and grounds are lovely with some ducks and goats kept in nice enclosures

Lovely place. Great big garden and brilliant for kids. Very tranquil and with a peacock and goats, the kids were kept amused.
If I?m being picky, it?s a shame there?s no table service. I spent a lot of our visit going backwards and forwards to order, queue, collect etc.

We've been here a couple of times, and it's a lovely country pub. Great tables outside, lots of space and it makes a great base to do a walk around the nearby paths. We had a range of food - all decent, pub grub, good size helpings, nothing too fancy, decent prices. Good beers on tap, and a selection of alternatives. Football on the TVs inside. Water for dogs - great. Friendly staff, chatty with the regulars and the passers-by alike.

A fantastic Britstop and in their gardens they have lots of animals including goats and a white peacock.
Lovely traditional pub and good staple food, nothing posh, but very enjoyable.
Located in the middle of nowhere it is narrow roads to get there but you are rewarded with wonderful countryside and lots of walking opportunities and they are very dog friendly.
Great real ale and well worth a visit.

Arrived at 2.55pm today. Lights on doors locked. How disappointing. Travelled a fair distance with hubby as he?d never been here before.
How can a pub be shut when they advertise being open all day !!!!!

Called ahead as travelling through and needed a spot to sleep. Welcoming pub (sadly just missed the rugby) friendly customers, excellent food, doggo friendly and great night sleep at the rear for us campers! Highly recommend and will be back.
