Called in for lunch on the off chance. Good varied menu to select from. The food was excellent , hot very fresh and well prepared. Service attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely return.

Ok, not great!
Popped into this place due to seeing the reviews. When we walked in, the place looked very nice. Good atmosphere, nice and relaxed. Drinks and starters came, couldn?t fault them. For mains, my partner had the Monkfish, I had the rib steak burger. The monkfish was rubbery and had an unpleasant after taste. The rib burger was over cooked. Bacon was very hard, it was like eating pork crackling. The burger bun was burnt. The best part about my meal were the triple cooked chips. For dessert we shared a cheesecake, which was very small and overpriced at £10.
Unfortunately, I dropped my full drink on the floor, which smashed. When the bill came, we were shocked to see that the drink I dropped, as well as the replacement were on the bill. We had to challenge that stating that accidents happen. They removed one of the drinks. All in all, it definitely wasn?t worth the £95 we paid. (1 starter, 2 mains, 1 dessert and 2 drinks) With a high surcharge of £9! Even though the service was very slow. Two guys walking around together. One holding the tray, the other taking from the tray to serve. (Waste of a waiter in my opinion) there was also a woman that was kind of serving. Maybe she?s the owner. Not sure, she spent most of her time talking to another couple of diners next to us.
It pretends to be a fine dining experience but honestly, I would have preferred Nando?s. Maybe we were just unlucky but we won?t be returning.

Went for Sunday lunch with family and friends knowing it would be fine dinning .
The food was superb the best beef I had since dinning at the Dorchester . The presentation was good not a pyramid for once. Beautiful food even home made ice cream made with fresh fruit.highly recommended .

Great quality food and service. Went for sunday lunch, the roast beef was served medium rare which was perfect and the horseradish was the perfect condiment.

Delicious Sunday roast with all the trimmings, the fish cake starter which was recommended was amazing. Service was good as usual.
