Scan as you shop service.....What a joke and time wasting experience. The whole idea of doing scan-as-you-shop is to save the customer time, but in my experience the opposite is true.
Over the last 10 weeks, I have had to endure 6, yes 6 so-called random basket checks. I feel that Tesco show a massive lack of trust in their customers and are deliberately picking on me as I do a large weekly shop fairly late at night. Basket searches are meant to be random, but 6 in 10 weeks is NOT random. Added to that, the poor staff have to re-scan 45 items out of my 85 items. Meanwhile i'm standing there like a lemon waiting for them to do this, wasting my time. I can understand re-scanning 15-20 items but 45 is vastly excessive. It has now got to the point where if it happens once more, i will be taking my custom to another supermarket chain,- but then again Tesco don't really care about the inconvenience they cause. They also make it very difficult to complain by email, no specific complaints phone number either. Last chance saloon Tesco, one more 'random' check and i'm off to Sainsbury in future.

For years I've been asking this store to make some disabled parking bays out the front of the store, as surprisingly for their flagship store, they appear to be one of the few that have them.
I have come to the store today and I am so angry. You know what they gone and done?
They've put motorcycle bays in a the front of the store.
WHAT ABOUT THE DISABLED. CLEARLY LESS CARE FOR THE DISABLED THAN MOTOCYCLISTS!!!

I spoke to someone called robbie he was very helpful. And professional.. I went back and thay have a good selection of clothes. I went there again today. I like the new layout of the store. How thay use the space looks good to buyers. Also a gregs witch it nice. And creams nice if your looking for a good desert after your nandos. So a lot up there made it more worth going nice... marco on on the tills is fast and gives great service.

This is a big store you can spend hours in buying buying buying however it sells clothes and has no fitting rooms like what?s the point in that you can?t try nothing on or see how anything looks on yourself and it?s just been Renovated and moved about ??

Waves Carwash complaint !! Are these people ever investigated??
I visited this location on Friday 9th May to have my car cleaned, but unfortunately, the service did not meet professional standards. The wheels appeared to have been coated with a polish to mask dirt, and the windows were cleaned using dirty cloths, which is unacceptable. Although they claim to use Auto Glym products, I found no evidence of this, as only empty bottles were on display, suggesting they do not actually use those products. I believe this company warrants reporting and should be removed from Tesco's premises. Given my experience, I will not be recommending their services or returning in the future. I regret not taking photos prior to my husband thoroughly cleaning and polishing the car. Unfortunately, I feel that my investment was wasted, as I have not received any response or communication from the company regarding the issue.

This particular store is a disgrace for customers. The condition of their disabled toilet is totally unacceptable. They should closed it till it sorted out. Very unsafe for customers. Exposed wires and toilet bowel.

Then you got the actual staff. Who seem to think everyone who walk in their is a theft. Very unpleasant shopping experience to be honest. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Well done Tesco you have ruined what used to be a good store.
The new layout is horrible and the range of products has been reduced, I can no longer buy the things I want.
Aldis in Hoddesdon is a much better store aswell as my local shop.

FRED on self checkout was so rude! Not wearing his correct name tag and had awful customer service! Certainly wouldn't be having him representing tesco, serving at the front of the store.
