The food had nice flavours. The lamb in the Rogan wasn?t as tender as other places I?ve eaten but the spice was perfect for me and my partner.
The meat Samosa was crispy and had good amount of filling.
They provided us with a small salad which was very old and seems to have been packed days ago.

Literally our favourite take out! I?ve lived in this area for 17yrs and by far the best restaurant/ food I?ve ever come across. And on top, the team are so wonderful, helpful and kind. I recommend them to everyone! Thankyou for your great food and service.

Now thats how you run a restaraunt! Never ever have we received such good service and food to match like we did today! We were in the area visiting (as we live 2 hours away) and as it was my birthday I had been looking at restaraunts near by to visit before we headed home and decided on this one due to the reviews on trip advisor. We arrived as a party of 9. Straight away the staff we all so friendly even though we arrived slightly late. The food was absolutely superb, a really amazing meal. Even the sauces for the popadoms were topped up if we ran out etc (little touches go a long way!). One of the staff members Mush was so fantastic, amazing with the kids and the most genuine nice guy ever. Nothing was too much trouble at all and he went above and beyond with everything. I was very touched that he offered a free round of drinks for the table as it was my birthday. Even brought over special little cocktails for the children with biscoff biscuits on the house. A great end to a fantastic visit, he even saw us out at the door. I really hope we can return here again one day if we are in the area. Thank you to all the staff and chefs for making my birthday a great one! 10/10 you won't be disappointed.

Went for a last minute date night with my partner and we had an amazing dinner. Food was amazing and the service was outstanding, I love when you can tell that someone truly enjoys their job and genuinely wants to make you feel as welcome as they can, and that?s exactly how we felt! Had a lovely laugh between meals with the waiter, Mosh, who really made the evening so fun. Mr.P even helped me pack up our leftovers, after I was convinced it wouldn?t fit in the bag, haha. Overall a fantastic place, will be coming back for more date nights:)

Wow, I am amazed. I had a meal at Mahek?s after coming from Manchester. The Staff was so nice and friendly, and the food I must say it is incredibly delicious! The Staff served us some oranges and chocolate after our meal and my son asked, ?can I get 2 more chocolate please?? and the Staff gave him all the chocolate they had. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so welcoming, beautiful and bright. I must say this restaurant is incredibly amazing!

Mosh gave us a warm welcome as the whole family trundled in. Baby Annie, Birthday boy Jamie and the gang were royally entertained and fed with some of Hertfordshire's finest Indian dishes. Try the Mahek special, served with a broad array of tender meats and with a kiss of spice - that's just right. Food came out together and perfectly served. Credit to the chefs who had been sizzling away in the full heat of summer. Just made for a perfect night, parked easily around the corner 30m away and had a great meal.
Kid-friendliness: Looked after the kids and 7 month old baby brilliantly. Perfect options if the children are not used to a curry

Lovely food, nice and spicy the way we like it! :) Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. The service was brilliant and Mr.P was very accomodating and even gave use a complimentry chickeb sizzler dish which was really kind. Highly reccomend this place and we will definitely be going back or getting takeway from there!
