Freezing cold in the pub
Left balloon and birthday decorations to be put on the table prior to us seating down, that never happened

Went to watch Phil Collins tribute on Friday, and only indulged in their cheesecake, which was to die for.

Gravy on the side!
I have been here many times and had the Sunday roast which is quite good and the gravy always came on the side.
Today my roast was absolutely drowning in gravy. I asked for another with gravy on the side and they told me they only put the gravy on the side upon request and they would see if they could get me another. They did replace it however I feel reluctantly, and the roast was fine but by the time I got mine everyone else I was eating with was finished.
Not a great experience I?m afraid. Not everyone likes their roast drowning. It doesn?t hurt to put the gravy on the side.

We went to see the Phill Collins tribute act and had a fantastic time.
Food was lovely and resnabally priced, not a long wait and served hot.
I'd booked a table on line and somehow something went wrong with the booking, but the two waitresses were so helpful in accommodating us and we thankfully had a wonderful table.
Beer ? good food excellent and fantastic entertainment what more could we ask for, definitely going again. Thank you.

The interior was nice with a great outdoor setting with nice parking facilities at the rear.
It stated that you had to order the food via the Mcmullen app, but if you ask, then the staff issues you with a menu to order.
The staff were very friendly and approachable.
The Guinness at £5.50 a pint was nice and cold for a summer day.
After giving the table number, the staff deliver your order to you.
The food was nice and hot, a good variation for a shared platter that cost £17.95
The Garden has a play area for the kids and adults if you don't want to grow up..
They have live entertainment at weekends with Taylor Swift tribute this Friday and others on future weekends.
I haven't been to this pub for many years, but like the Mcmullen pub The Bull's Head further up the road in Turnford, the Crocodile pub has a desirable atmosphere and worth a solo or family visit.

the only knives on view were the cutlery, so feeling safe in this pub, in this day and age, thoroughly ticked my box..

Currently working at home, and fancied a change from the same four walls - and sarnies! Lol. I thought I would treat myself to lunch in the local, although was a little nervous going alone. However, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by Jenny who made me feel welcome. I explained I was on a lunch break and asked how long for food, she advised 20 minutes. Exactly 20 minutes later, my food was there. She was always around if me or others needed her and checking on us - but not too much! Long story short ... AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE
