This is an exceptional tea room with a fabulous selection of home made cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful and everything is beautifully fresh, made with top notch ingredients. Seating indoor and outside, it's best to book at busy times.

AMAZING!! Home made cakes. I can't stop thinking about them. I have to stop myself from going back to buy another cake, I plan to try them all. Thankfully they aren't open every day, I'd be huge. Friendly owner. Also nice selection of tea and local sweets.

I stopped there for coffee and sandwiches just prior to my cousin becoming ill and passing away 3 years ago. In memory of her I travelled up to visit her husband and another cousin and it was decided we would visit the Tea room again as that was the last place we had met.
Sadly the visit was not a pleasant one, firstly the owner argued over a Americano, saying it comes with milk. So what, the friend wanted cream. So what if a customer wants cream instead of milk that is the customers choice.
We stayed for about an hour or so, ordering twice and on leaving I called thank you, no reply so thinking he had not heard I did so again, no reply.
The place is expensive and only sells bought in cakes, nothing special. The attitude of the owner is unbelievable. Service goes a long way but not only is the service bad, the owner thinks he?s doing you a favour and is extremely rude. Avoid this Tearoom there?s better and cheaper about without rudeness.

We've been here many times and always enjoyed our visits. The food and service are good. In the mornings a cooked breakfast menu is available and in the afternoons it's sandwiches etc. and cakes. The only issue is not to order just before midday as if one of you wants something cooked and the other person wants a sandwich, it's not possible. It's best to arrive either in good time for the morning breakfast menu or after midday for the afternoon tea menu. Both menus offer good quality fare.

I visited this tea room yesterday with 2 friends. I found this a delightful tea room. The hot drinks were nice and hot. The large selection of cakes was impressive. I would recommend the lemon drizzle cake. Superb. Will definitely visit again when riding in the area.
Also the service is polite and friendly.

Thought we would try this little tea room as moving to the area
Well we won't be back very disappointing
Had a coffee, tea and 2 sandwiches almost £20
Thought looking at the food coming out it would be really nice as bread looked freshly cut, however the bread for the sandwiches was the cheapest pre sliced and dry, sausages were also cheap and bacon hard not a nice experience. If you are going to charge high prices at least use quality ingredients for all customers.
We go out every weekend for coffee and a sandwich but not back to Westmill !!!!

Regular coffee stop when out cycling, great coffee and cakes, quiet village location, definitely worth a visit, but do check the opening times so as not to be disappointed

Friendly staff and freshly prepared food. Not sure what will happen when autumn arrives and it's too cold to sit outside.
